Looks like trouble in paradise. After years of indulging his descent into embittered insanity, looks like even Miggy has had enough of MacKenna’s defence of far right Covid deniers

Ha ha.

Miggy D going on about "inflammatory buzzwords"
"Evidence,"or lack of,etc.

The irony meter must be on maximum.

Not sure if already posted but this is from Luke Edwards who was linked yesterday for gobbing off on Radio 5.
Bless.

There's so much wrong with this article.

But it is a worry for English football. Or it should be, because the unique selling point of the Premier League, the core value of the brand if you like, is the idea that, at the start of every season, at least three or four teams start with title ambitions and perhaps as many as ten consider European qualification an achievable target.

9 teams topped the table this season. Spurs, United and Liverpool were all supposed to go on and win before we arrived from the back of the pack.

This is an extract from Luke Edward's column about Liverpool having the quality to win a second title

Manchester United have pulled level, Manchester City’s warm breath can be felt on their necks, while Leicester City, Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and, yes, Southampton, as well as Chelsea remain close enough to strike.
Does that sound like a one horse procession?
Then there's this - How Frank Lampard has turned Chelsea into Premier League title contenders
Telegraph Sport recently looked at the clubs the best young striker in Europe, Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, could join this summer. There are probably three in England - Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, possibly Liverpool at a push - but if it comes down to money, it will be Manchester City he chooses.

Alexis Sanchez. Fred. Jorginho. Maguire. All transfer's city backed out of for financial problems. All under Pep.

Manchester United dominated English football for the best part of two decades under the management and wider leadership of Sir Alex Ferguson, but they were constantly challenged, whether it was Arsenal or Chelsea. And they rarely, if ever, cantered to the title as City have done

There have been nine 10+ point margins of victory in Premier League history so far. Manchester City are currently responsible for 1. Manchester United 4. Arsenal, Chelsea & Leicester 1.

In fact 3 of our 4 league titles post-takeover have been won by 3 points combined.

Any link ?

No , sorry about 10 15am, It was a very good debate. Initially about Jesus, then went on to history.
Jordan;
Jesus not good enough
City no History
Treble, is not good enough.
While at the same time defends Barcelona.
Barcelona are not skint , they are restructuring their finances,

Trevor Sinclair has been a joy to listen to this morning on Talksport. I usually swerve this station as it’s largely toxic but I’ve enjoyed this morning greatly.

Nice one, Trev.

Actually there has been some really good listening on this 10 -1 00pm show in recent months.
Jordan hates City, but if you can get past that, and the nob White, there is some good stuff. Compared to Brazil ,Durham, Goldstein anyhow.
The topics at least break the surface
