One thing that might happen is that older fans might not be able to get back for reasons you can imagine.It doesn't affect us because we never had any fans in the first place - didn't you get the memo? The team probably hasn't even noticed there was a pandemic happening.
Instead of a sympathetic attitude that 'they watched the blues loyally for 60 years but old age or covid finally took them away at a time the team were dominating', our scummy press corps would make Emptihad jokes. In front of me a man died but his widow kept his seat on. Sometimes other members of the family use it but often it's empty.
Similarly next me a guy lost his wife and he kept her seat, sometimes using it sometimes selling it on. Both of them did this for last season and at least part of the one before it.
I look at these sometimes empty seats and am proud of those Blue families and the whole big City family. The shitty media opposite us would see empty seats and use them as a jibe.
