I’m expecting intense analysis from the media of anything that City do this season. Any minor infractions will be shown on a constant loop with faux outrage in an attempt to get our players banned. Or am I just being paranoid?

If he keeps slapping the rags 6-1 I’ll call him friendly names to be honest. Seems to have toned it down in recent years, take him with a pinch of salt but I have no issue with him.

Black armbands aplenty in the sky sports studios this morning, the rats badge in the background with the presenter being all sad and teary talking about the injury to Virgil.

Fuck me he's not died, he's bust his knee, he won't be waiting in A n E for 4 hours and then told to come back in two weeks for a scan, he'll be getting top level care and be looked after appropriately.
