Never any mention of other clubs spending. Net spend (just in case anyone is after Liverpool's title) last 3 years

Villa £230m (in only 2 seasons)
Fulham £144m
City £204m
United £235m
Spurs £160m
Chelsea £183m
Liverpool £133m
Arsenal £221m

We are hardly blowing away other teams in the transfer market!
Its the Villa one that gets me, one of the highest spenders in Europe over the last few years yet not a single mention about their spend in the media

Subtlety in play on BBC football page at the minute.

Main story "Champions League remains 'big one' for Man City"
Alongside "Life after Lewandowski - why Bayern could dominate Europe for years"
And "Real Madrid march into Champions League last eight"
And "Man City cruise into Champions League quarter finals"

My sub-editorial says "City play fancy football but will miss out on Champions League again as Bayern and Real Madrid are just too strong for them and will show who are Kings of Europe"

How different it would message with ...
"City power into last eight with class"
"Bayern searching for a solution after Lewandowski"
"Real Madrid overcome surprise team Atalanta"
"City turn on the style again"

This is certainly the case with the fake profile "Alex from Yatton" which has posted borderline racist comments about our owner in the BBC match day coverage. I understand this person has not been in the BBC team that long. The problem with the BBC Salford operation is that some of its staff are too arrogant. These trolls will be found out and will lose their jobs. The BBC is under a lot of internal pressure from the top to clean up its act these days.

I hope your faith is repaid Bobby because the twats responsible at the BBC certainly deserve to be sacked and shamed due to their disgraceful and continual behaviour towards the club.

Some time ago, I emailed The Independent about Michael Delaney’s continual racist comments about our owners and club. I’ve received the following response & would like any info I could include in my reply:

Dear CC1

Thank you for getting in touch with us about this. I am happy to investigate your complaint, as we would not condone any racism in our reporting.

Could you please tell me which article you are referring to, or give me an example or two of where you feel he has been racist, so that I might look into this further?
I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Richard Best
Why 'an example or two'- surely ONE example is enough?

You'd think they'd do a search at themselves and set about defending his/their position. If you do find the 'couple of examples' post the dates and headlines on here and they can have as many complaints as they like.

I put this on the HYS bbc report of last nights game.

Once again the unbiased bbc post 5 comments about city's bench (cost) in their match commentary. It really is just propaganda these days, nothing like a balanced discussion from the so called national broadcaster. They really must be hurting at the salford red office. Love it.

All the top liked comments supported my view (6th highest). Yet after I complained to the bbc they argued that they post live comments that represent "majority" views.

They make it up as they go along, the quality of journalism is just shocking.
