Most of the coverage we have had in the media today has been positive, last nights coverage was unbelievably City focused and good.

Maybe the tide is turning? We are always going to attract idiots who serve their paymasters and write clickbait but it's wearing thin people just like the way we play.

Take RAWK and Ragcafe out of the equation and we get decent opinions, their bitterness says more about them than it does us.

This Duncan Castles really hates us doesn't he!!! He spent the whole day on Twitter explaining why we should not even be in the CL this year because we broke the law and the CAS decision was not a real decision!

I don't get it, why does he hate us so much?
We think he's one of a few reporters who get paid by our rivals to produce negativity around the club, he's been paid by lfc in the past. Though lately I am seeing/realising that our success turns the red fans off and they dont consume sports media anymore, to bring them back in the reporters need to produce anti-City stuff. Maybe its that simple.

And he's ****

Duncan Castles is a twat.

Joe made an interesting comment after the game. He said fans of other teams accuse City of having no history & they were right that City had no history in European cup competitions.

This is, of course, bollocks. City first appeared in the European Cup as it was in the 1968-9 season - an inauspicious beginning, but the following season they won the European Cup Winners Cup. Since City won the Premier League in 2012, they are the only English team to have qualified for the Champions League every year since. So when it comes to the use of the word as a jibe, "history" clearly means something else.

Of course it's a way of making fans of those clubs who have won the Champions League or European Cup feel better about themselves (I'm sure Villa & Forest fans would rather be in our position) but where does that leave Arsenal? For them they must be thinking of domestic "history".

Next time remember this:
City were founded in 1880 - 2 years before Spurs, 6 years before Arsenal, 12 years before LFC & 25 years before Chelsea
They won their first FA Cup in1904 - 26 years before Arsenal, 44 years before MU, 61 years before LFC & 66 years before Chelsea.
They were Football League Champions in 1937 - 14 years before Spurs & 18 years before Chelsea

Anyway - just a bit of ammunition.
I heard Joe's comment too and thought, hang on a minute, that's not quite true. What about the Cup Winners Cup? What Joe did say that was accurate was something about the "soul of the club", which was his way of saying a strong base of support and a long history. Now that City are getting more former players in the broadcast studio, guess they need to be educated a little more about the actual dates and accomplishments.

Wonderful achievement by City , when your starting left back cost you just over 220 million pounds less than Paris paid for its Brazilian forward you deserve credit on a brilliant victory.
Said no journalist ever.
My big joke yesterday was.

Neymar 200m Mbabe 130m. How are we supposed to compete with that? That's more than we have spent on attackers in our entire history. We've only spent 28m ish on attackers (Jesus) in 5 6 years.

A win for City tonight is a win for financial fair play.
