Fantastic gesture by Mansour to cover the cost of fans trip to Portugal. Amazing this is not at least being reported by the main media sports reporters.
shows it's just a media sponsored cover-up.The game last night stank to high heaven but we've become used to MOTD'S use of selective highlights. Pundits are morons and undiscovered tribes in the rainforest understand the offside rules better than the whistling wanker fraternity.
It's a pity that the Sheikh's gesture on free charter flights to the CL final has been glossed over with customary haste. It would have been lauded if it had been the red cheeks.
Don't worry the green and yellow rags will know about it and be even more unhappy with the Glazers.shows it's just a media sponsored cover-up.
Just caught MOTD highlights on the I player, and the highlights where the typical MOTD highlights of City , the same crap we've put with of years , A penalty shot that was checked by VAR , yet no mention or a relook from the guys in the Studio, yet we get the Chelsea one that they don't get being talked about .We've all watches matches live only to see the highlights later where we question did something happen saw with my own eyes in the stadium/TV or did I imagine it?
Could you imagine the BBC ommiting it if it was the other way around.
I don't watch it now for that exact reason. Our highlights package is rarely a true reflection of the game.Just caught MOTD highlights on the I player, and the highlights where the typical MOTD highlights of City , the same crap we've put with of years , A penalty shot that was checked by VAR , yet no mention or a relook from the guys in the Studio, yet we get the Chelsea one that they don't get being talked about .
And not even bothering too show the foul on Gundogan, never mind discuss it after. A foul that probably played a big part in him going off 2nd after. But like I said, typical MOTD, done it to us for years, not showing penalty shout or disallowed goals !
You can guarantee that if the foul had been committed by Gundogan and a Brighton player rather than Jesus was denied that penalty, then it would be stinking the back pages out today. Brighton's shithouse tactics in a meaningless game and the lack of protection by officials is something we should never forgive or forget. Some decisions seem blatantly corrupt and they mainly go against those teams who don't play in red tops. It needs investigating or it will destroy the game. What foul ?
It's part of the BBC remit that they have to be fair to both sides. Oh wait, that's politics.I don't watch it now for that exact reason. Our highlights package is rarely a true reflection of the game.
