The Moody Blues
Threshold of a Dream album
Circa 1872 ish
Fuckin' 'ell. I know the Moodies have been around for a while but, 1872, C'mon man!

There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
That you perceive
The web they weave
And keep on thinking free.

Saw them at the Free Trade Hall (remember that?) in the early 70s (for the avoidance of doubt, the 1970s), on the very first of their farewell tours. To be honest, to me, they were better on record than live, and I was slightly disappointed.

You forgot ‘Grealish, city target for 100m in the summer, failed to even make it off the bench, whilst ‘Sir’ Rashford again impressed the watching world by feeding the starving children whilst doing reading the books as he completely bossed the Croatian defence…’
Ah, Jack did make it off the bench for a warm up. He then saw a 17 year old come on for Kane. Rather insulting for Jack who most people wanted to see start the match. So much for Southgate's so called loyalty to those who have served him well (Jack has starred several times for him) We have a manager who is more interested in being remembered as the Champion of Youth rather than actually winning a tournament for England.
