There was another story on BBC about him sending a kid a PS5 yesterday i think. Not knocking ever what people do for Charities etc but its like Beckham and he cannot do anything without a PR team needing to do a press release. I am sure many others do lots for charity below the radar and never seek attention from the media for doing it
For some reason, I read that as stating that he has sent a kid a P45. I immediately thought what a callous bastard!

I trod that very same path around 15 years earlier! In those days, it was a Bents Gartsides pub. Then across to the Foresters, where I had a tankard, then the Beau Geste, the Ashton, the Caledonian, Yates', etc, then back to Heywoods chippy near the Burlington (my mate lived next door to the pub), then onto Katherine street for the last bus to the Moss -the bus stop was next door to my house - with my supper still hot!
And beer at 1/8d a pint and return bus fare 2d, before this new fangled decimalisation came in.
Ha, our local was the Moss Side on Portland St. weekends we'd go Moss Side, Gatefield, Burlington, Star, Foresters, Caven, a few in the centre maybe including Old Yaults, Feathers, Caledonian finishing in the Angel then into the Memory Inn or to Heywoods chippy if we didn't fancy a rough club for a couple of pastie's for the 15 min stagger home.

Part of me wants the club to announce Messi/Kane/Grealish signing for a combined fee less than Mbappe to PSG to see their piss boil.
Sorry I might be late to this but are they quoting something Pep said at a press conference that he said in April?

The punditry of Rio Ferdinand last night, saying England will win as we are miles better than Italy and Denmark. Bloody hell he doesn’t half get giddy doesn’t he. Remember when he was saying United were back after beating Psg?
They were, until the next match but hey, whose counting.

Once went in the Aldi on Dean Street, and said to a lady a lot older than me (I'm now 71!) that the last time I came in here it was called Gatefield school. She said "you're going back a bit". I said "yes, I left in 1961 to go to Ashton Grammar"!
