This is how it used to be until a few years ago (1st April 1999 - minimum wage law). Employers could pay what they wanted but the ones that paid the least would get the most unreliable workers so it paid to pay a bit more. Not saying it's right.Well lets remove the minimum wage entirely then and let them pay as little as they like to reward them.
Why should they have to pay £9 an hour when anyone could set up their own business? Let them pay £3/hour. We've got 400,000 unemployed so plenty of competition for the jobs.
