Interestingly Grealish has just been heralded for making 200 appearances for his hometown club by the age of 25.

he’d played 18 times by the time he was 20, Phil is on 92.
Phil Foden has got the third highest appearances for City this season. He is just part of the usual squad rotation at City. I believe he plays more than most other players of his age in Europe. He has also won nine trophies (including the U17 World Cup) This story is just the latest fake narrative put out by our enemies in the media to try and damage us. I wish the club would call it out.

Genuinely is any of that good? Chasing a 66 year old bloke around twitter insulting him.

I thought he commentary was decent last night, yes people have pointed out him mentioning the price of players, which arguably is a fair point, but I don't get the insults and its unlikely to endear the club to him for future commentaries.
Well, what a shock.

You also didn't mind him mentioning in four separate conversations about how we are struggling to score, not just mentioning it but an actual conversation about it, like we didn't hear it the last match and the match before that and on and on and on.

As for chasing him about Twitter lol, you post shit somebody somewhere will always find it and serve it back to you.

His commentary can hardly get worse than it is already.

If he wants to dish out shit then he should also be prepared to take it back. Too many of these media saps think they can say what they like, then get offended when people give it back. People like Herbert, the drunken sex-pest Glendenning and others like them. They're just plain nasty so we're quite entitled to be nasty back. Then they have the nerve to say City fans are a sensitive bunch.

Exactly, well said.

They found 3 tweets with 2 of them over 8 years ago and Insults were on the thread if you carried on reading (not by the poster you refer to). Don’t think it was necessary, personally. All about opinions though.

All i want from commentators is fair and unbiased opinion and I want to them to talk about the actual game. We get treated differently from the majority of teams.

When Pogba came on for Utd last week was he referred to as the £80M sub? No. Does Virgil Van Dijk ever get referred to as a £75M defender? No. So why are commentators obsessed with how much we pay. When we signed Torres the fee was £21M plus add-ons totalling £37M. The Mail and The Sun both reported the fee as £37M which is incorrect.

How many other teams clubs signings are the add-ons added to the price? Make no mistake we are treated differently in the media than other clubs

And so he should. You're looking at double figures the number of times he mentioned the cost of our players. He even started to talk about the price of Pep's coat FFS!!
My favourite was: "Why can't City score goals this season? It's the great Manchester City mystery." You don't need to be Miss Marple to realise we have had no strikers for 75 per cent of our games. Even McPointalot was embarrassed by Ian Darke's relentless negativity about City.
The problem with fools like Darke is he is too lazy to do his job properly. Why mention that Foden "doesn't start Premier League games" when he has started plenty of CL games and we have to rotate the squad? There is no balance and context.

I see both points of view, but found it strange he did keep throwing in the price tag of a player when talking about them,it does seem to be reserved for us and it gives the impression that we constantly spend vast amounts of money on players which we know isn’t true. The mention of peps coat was just tongue in cheek for me and having a laugh ..
I\d laugh if he mentioned other PL managers' coats. But he doesn't. The price of players, the elements of luxury visible in the game are only ever brought to the forefront when we are in front of the camera.

Its a fair argument, and like I said nothing wrong with pointing it out over twitter, just not sure it justifies the other stuff. Anyway like I said its not a hill I wish to die on.
