You’re worried about him commentating on our future games now? He can’t be any worst than he was before now. Never mentions any transfer fees for any other club in the same manner as he does for us. He calls us sensitive, but he’s wrong. He’s just boring us and we’ve heard it all before.

Im not worried in the slightest but those that get so easily offended seem bothered by it.

Nothing wrong with pointing out him mentioning the transfer fees, but anything else is just poor form.

The **** has completely made every single word up. What a truly embarrassing way to earn a living.

I think it's likely he has been leaked a false story by someone who wants to damage City and he has been happy to write it (knowing it to be false) It's no surprise it has happened the week before we play United. However an educated guess suggests someone with strong links to Real Madrid who is actively pursuing a media campaign against us and I would put my money on Javier Tebas. Or perhaps Javier Tebas has spoken to Ramon Calderon who has mentioned it in passing to the Mirror. Both of them are rent-a-quote lawyers.
Of course Moxley has not bothered to get comment from City or Phil's family. Tebas has been speaking out publically about his concerns about Messi leaving La Liga so it all makes sense.

Darke claimed he doesn't have an issue and it shouldn't be an issue about the price of City players. Someone looked up his old tweets about him mentioning City players prices and called home out on it. Not sure I would call that chasing him around and the lad who replied to him didn't insult him.

They found 3 tweets with 2 of them over 8 years ago and Insults were on the thread if you carried on reading (not by the poster you refer to). Don’t think it was necessary, personally. All about opinions though.

Please please someone from city podcasts or the club themselves provide some alternative city commentary. There again radio is good.

The OS match day page has commentary by Alistair Mann.
And pre/halftime/post match stuff with (generally) Ex city players in ‘were not really here’ segment.

Due to shifting work patterns I often have to listen to our midweek games on the radio, specifically r5 and talkshite. Have to say I find Chris Sutton balanced and informative. Also surprised by Clinton Morrison, very self effacing and easy to listen to.

Had bt til ko then tuned into supersport which only mentioned 1 players price tag all game. THat player was Len.

With Darke when he worked for Sky doing the boxing he was very good. Very knowledgable and gave good insight when the bout was going on but I don't think he ever said "Heres Floyd Mayweather entering the ring, he's worth $400M you know" or "Look at that jacket Lennox Lewis is wearing for his ring walk, I bet that cost a few bob"
