It helped the dippers they were able to have a good preseason. They seem to be out of the blocks quickly and will probably maintain it like last year. They will canter to the title again. Plus they have the media frothing at the mouth over them, paid the the refs off and have incredible luck with injuries. How do you compete with that ?

i think they are very dodgy at the back still ? also there luck without major injuries has to give at some point
city over the last 3 season have had major injuries to key players and if they was liverpool key players it would make a big difference to the title

liverpool will get the match officials and VAR going in there way when needing something, that is the leveller that city just don't have to fall back on and money can not buy

I like your drift but you're wrong on one point because money certainly can and does buy both 'in ground' match officials and the VAR operators.
Refs have always been open to a bung and with more and more betting on football that's only increased. PGMOL has become a tool used very successfully by international betting syndicates.

i use to think that ? but money is not the key its the value of the job they are in
the officials are under orders from the top ? the system is made up of crooks at the top table and dare you fall foul of not doing your job, its all about united and liverpool because of the so called fan base they have all over the world its sells tv rights to arm chair fans each season, its worth £billions and more than city can offer

And not one Jota about the ball running up his arm before he toe-ended it in! The DT reports this morning that the Whistling Wankers have been told to 'go soft' on the new handball law. I think the minute they walk into Anfield they go soft on anything where a Dipper player breaks any law - Mané's latest excursion into street thuggery and Jota's juggling skills. Won't be long before Liverpool are allowed to pick the ball up and run with it!
Be all over the Webb if they done that

Nope, it's actual money that they take and thereafter they're in the grip of organised crime.

Football's always been bent, it was the key to money laundering from the 70's onwards as rich business owners fully realised their potential for dodging tax rates of 90%
Think about it this way. Target a south american player worth £250k, buy said player for £8M, £250k of which goes to the club, £250k of which goes to the players bent agent and hey presto £7.5M deposited into a south american bank having avoided massively high uk taxation in those days.
Since the late 90's, with the growth in global gambling markets and online accounts, the criminality in the game has gone ballistic.

I'd go as far as to say that to make it to the top level as a referee you'd need to be bent as a nine bob note yourself or in full knowledge of others who are bent but keep your mouth shut like a good boy / girl.
Look at all the major football organisations and all the multi-million pound bungs the heads of said organisations take for awarding say the World Cup?
Those organisation heads are the senior representatives of major footballing bodies, they're bent and they epitomise their organisations because the games bent, perhaps not always at the bottom but absolutely always from the middle to the top.
IMO the only thing that makes any football game a game of chance is that there are vying organisations often working against each other to sway the results.
Look at how certain goalkeepers flock under certain agents, and how those goalkeepers can have an amazingly propensity to throw the ball into their own net in, especially in key games that decide seasons.
I could go on, but I won't because me talking about the obvious on here won't alter how it is and certainly won't convince those innocents who still believe that football's a clean game (and that Santa Clause delivers presents each crimbo and tooth fairy's sneak old teeth away and leave cash in exchange).

As soon as we went behind both started gloating about how we have spent more than anyone/have the biggest squad and no one will feel sorry for us..Neville then said "get the party poppers out".....never hear Neville or any pundit mentioning that the rags have spent over a billion since last winning the league nor will you
I missed a lot of the match because i won't have Sky with its business model of deceit and favouritism but despite this people still fall for it because they are too lazy and too stupid to check the figures which are easily found online.
Too many people think Neville is ok. He is and always be a rag twat.
I cheer myself up thinking of the Goat scoring but more so about how we on the Kippax humiliated him by applauding him and chanting his name.

The presence of a big screen doesn't make a difference to whether VAR works. It does mean that there is no big screen to tell the crowd what's being looked as clearly as elsewhere.

And it is pure coincidence that neither the rags or dippers have screens for the crowd to see what is being looked at.

Doesn't really matter as the PiGMOL lackies usually referred to as referees , only make the decisions which favour the home team anyway as per PL/FA directives.

The exact phrase used by the commentator after City went behind was : "No one will get the violins out." No broadcast organisation would say that about any other club other than City. It's what happens when a club allows people at all levels of the media to continuously make snide comments about us and broadcast lies without any response to them. It doesn't happen to other clubs because they don't allow it to happen.
The UEFA witchunt against us (based on historic doctored emails) was only launched against City because UEFA and elements of the media thought they could get away with it. There is no respect for City and we are seen as a soft touch.

Is anyone really surprised by jotas suspected handball not being dutifully reviewed when the prospect of a dipper debut goal is at stake. Proving what mastery the club has in its signings ability, they also lauded thiago vs chelsea last week, even though his biggest input was giving a penalty away. The tv companies that now literally own football have sold their 4/5 clubs to the unwitting public since they created the pl nearly 30 years ago, and helped keep them at the top too with the tv backed prize money for rehashed tournaments with more games( it takes 96 games to knock out 16 teams from the cl group stages, and 8 go into the euro/lge, just incase one of the "big" clubs have a bad group performance).Add to this the talk of history, youth, legends blah blah. The modern versions of those chosen clubs are practically products created by sky etc to make money, sky want the most popular clubs in the biggest games, and by christ have they tried to achieve that, successfully too in the most part. Here in the pl other teams have come and gone(blackburn, leeds etc), but none have got in amongst skys babies like we have, at first we were not taken seriously, them thinking our owner would "get bored etc",but as time has gone on the success of our footballing product has overtaken some of their "products" and for a while I think they have actively involved themselves in discrediting us whenever the opportunity has arisen.Think slagging off our signings, ridiculing our supposed lack of history, the constant negative statistics and anti City rhetoric during games, general City bingo and siding with foreign teams in european ties, the opening of hys articles just to let people(probs themselves) slag us off, etc. It all adds up, and over the pas 10/12 years there has been a lot of hate against us, even personally, people on the periphery of my social life have had a go at me about us,armed with some of the nonsense quoted in the various media outlets, it does have an effect.Sadly now, and maybe for a while it seems to have filtered through to footballs various governing bodies, they also want specific ends met, a strong man utd, new pl winners etc, after all the tv companies have to be satisfied or else. Hate newcastle now, and they are an example of what I am talking about, being "turned" by peer pressure to oppose us, but it would have been interesting to see the reaction if their takeover had been successful. Lol, they soon had that idea squashed lest they become a force like us. At the end of the day, we are here at the forefront whether they like it or not, and despite them we have been the best team over the last 10 yrs or so,under the above circumstances that is quite an achievement, and long may it continue. Sorry for such a long post, but once I started I couldnt stop.

I believe we are a soft touch and its doing my head in.
Ratboy Neville as thrown all but the kitchen sink at us this weekend, and i believe hes gone in so heavy cos he thinks ushited have a chance of finishing above us this season and he wants everyone on his side in his quest.
He was lording the dippers last night almost to the point of crowning them champions, and i think he wouldn't mind that as long as his shower of shit finish above us, hence the city are in trouble vibe that hes trying to install into everyones living rooms.
While no fans can get to games they have a bigger audience to vent their hatred towards us too, cos we have to listen to the fucking twats even more now to watch a game

yeah, but at the end of the day, we keep getting done other defensively like schoolboys, not once but everytime the opposition lob one over the top.

Neville is deceitful and poisonous. His balanced man of football act is just that. Scratch the veneer and he's as venal as any of the kopshites. Except GN is more influential in spreading media narratives such as tactical fouling and good old Citeh bingo. It does have a drip drip cumulative effect particularly reinforced by Tyler et al.

Sadly CAS has changed nothing. Perception counts and perhaps we need to play the longer game where our most decorated players become media types. Might be a long wait.

That's why 1 defeat however shit we played is spun as the end of an era. Once we have more bodies back and perhaps more signings we will be competitive.

his assertion that we had spent the most amount of money in the last few years was pretty inaccurate I think. Don’t know exact figures but haven’t United spent the most in recent seasons?

When your winning PL's and cups people get praised. When things go wrong you have very little wiggle room with the media, they build you up to knock you down. No one will have sympathy for us if we get turned over simple as that. City getting beat is a big story, you only need to check the betting before a game to see what everybody thinks will happen as opposed to what does happen.

Sometimes the wheels come off big time.. Yesterday was the first time since 2003 we've conceded 5 at home I believe..

What a ride we've been on since and are still on now..

We're going nowhere soon. Good players don't become shit overnight and contrary to what people think, we've got some very good players..

You know how good we are when news of us suffering a heavy defeat reverberates around the world..

What grinds my gears though is knobheads like Neville and Garragher who have all the answers but couldn't hack being in the dugout themselves..

Neville lasted all of 6 months and would have relegated Valencia if they hadn't fucked him off.. Fkin clueless..

Crawled back to sky sports and now deems himself qualified enough to tell Pep every fkin game where he's going wrong..

Wanker of the highest order who thinks his options carry gravitas when it comes to football management..

Where do you start with Carragher?

A no mark, ferrel dipper who shouldn't even be on TV to give his worthless opinion..

If he had anything about him he'd have a go at management himself as he seems to pinpoint the failings of the best manager the PL has ever seen on a regular basis..

Another shithouse who gobs it off but hasn't got the balls to have a go at management himself..

No morals, no class, no scruples, no fkin idea.. sums up the odious twat perfectly..!
My man!
