lino she was in the wrong but will get away with it because she got the call from VAR to put the flag up in her ear
it played on for about 20 seconds before she flagged so why did she flag so late ?? i knew it straight away when you looked at the pitch lines in the replay ? it had to be given because the ref did not blow the whistle to stop the game

both calls from the villa and WBA game was the right call and nothing to do with city players. but the rule change on rodri goal will be all city fault and unsporting and again last night will be called unsporting and will be a rule change coming again
Spot on mate.
the meedja throw words like ’controversy’ about, and make heavy insinuations about ‘with the help of officials‘ or how we ‘benefited from’ these decisions.
The real controversy - if they could be bothered to cover it- is the lack of knowledge of the offside rule by an experienced club captain, the inability of an experienced assistant ref to look beyond the first two players in her eyeline, and the WestBrom defence for not playing to the whistle.
It is entirely coincidental that both situations involved City, but of course, it gives a section of the media the opportunity to raise an eyebrow and wag a finger, which is lapped up by the tedious conspiracy drones.

All very bitter
That's why the MEN has been one of the worst performing media firms in the last decade. It has lost all trust from its local community. I have City-supporting pals who are in business and will never place advertising in their products. The MEN is on its last legs as a business.

so true matey the media hate is shocking for a fantastic football team doing things well head of their time

if the ref blew his whistle city would have been robbed of a goal and it would have been karma and the media and pundits would have just left it to the fans on internet to gloat about

Doubtless she is still traumatised from Sergio touching her shoulder a few months ago

Most of them still haven't got over this John Stones "Aguero" moment

There’s lot’s of factual statements that the broadcasters could make, but don’t.

Or like when they actually did mention Dijk's £75m, they said it was "proved to be more than a bargain" and that they have "stolen him for that money"...!

Some journalists are good. Plenty aren't. Same with "pundits".

It's not worth getting angry over.
Being annoyed can be a different level to anger, I'd say it is more like disappointment personally, who wouldn't like to pick up a paper and read 4 pages of joy about your team, rather than the biased old claptrap we have had to put up with, one good article a week will never erase the 200 bile-filled hate ones.

That is the terrible fact for us as City fans, of course, I don't buy a paper anymore but the point remains I used to buy one every day from the 1st day of working life until we got renamed Oil Rich City in match reports.

There was no need for that then and there is less reason for it now.

A fair balanced report/story is all we have ever asked for and we still lack it.

Today’s’ MEN covering Colins funeral which took place yesterday , almost a full page coverage but it’s shared with a piece on 3 scroats who put a gun to a pilots head in wythenshawe park. No disrespect to George Best (great footballer ) but I bet they afforded him alot more coverage than The King got

Should have only been about Colin then if you wanted you could cut out and keep

He is a proper ****. How our local “paper” can have a snide City hater like him covering City is a joke. Not only a snide prick, but a shit writer too. No agenda though, just the sort of thing the muen does to the scum
Absolutely. Stuart Brennan has written an excellent piece as counterbalance tbf, but united would never, ever get an article about getting ‘helped by officials’ with all their dodgy penalties. Just the opposite, in fact, they instead published articles defending Pogba’s dive against Villa.
Even the way Bajkowski has written it is snide. First three or four paragraphs are all about City getting yet another ‘dodgy decision’, sowing the seed and dictating the headline. Then goes on to say it wouldn’t have affected the result, giving the impression of balance.
Like you say, a bitter rag gobshite

The rags' first choice back 4 of Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof and Shaw also cost £200 million.

but its their own money hahahahaha

nobody ever mentions the selling greedy clubs that put the price up by £20million because of city money
manchester city money is the lifeline of many a football club and its a money go round and good for football
