Perhaps it is you that doesn't understand social media. If City issue any kind of statement the main stream media would then be able to publish the story, it would be slanted, after passing through the lawyers, in a way to make Walker sound guilty even though he was in Manchester throughout. Idiots with a keyboard will in this day and age will spew any old shite out, (look at Trump on Twitter) By posting it on here we are just giving it life instead of letting it die a quick quiet death.

Welsby is an Evertonian, anyone think they aren't trying to stir it up and get a cheap three points? No sympathy from that club towards the players affected and the abuse caused online is horrendous, Everton and the social media rats attacking the club should be ashamed.

I've seen that, but Ancelotti seems a class above the people who employ him. The difference between the response from Spurs to Fulham and that of Everton towards City has to make me question just what sort of unpleasant sewer dwellers they have running that club. Maybe the Lescott saga and the incidents surrounding that league cup semi are still raw wounds with the peoples club.
