Just got back from the Hyde Active Jab Centre for the old fella. Got there 30 minutes early but waved through, several details and questions then the jab. Stayed in line with other vehicles in our "batch" then asked to wait a few minutes to ensure he was ok. Given a card with his first jab details on it and a blank space to fill in after the second, it fits in a wallet and can be used as proof of jab. Thought he was getting the Pfizer one but turned out to be AZ.

Just a pat on the back for all the staff there, runs like a military exercise and even though they may have been there all day in really cold, rainy weather they were all so nice and polite, no old people should feel intimidated

As an aside today my Dad got two telephone calls asking him to pay the bill for his Covid Jab. I would imagine it's just a coincidence and he told them both to Piss Off (my advice of what to say to anyone asking for cash and bank details over the phone). Anyone with elderly or vulnerable friends and family would be advised to let them know about these vile fraudsters.

It's common knowledge that Media City is full of Rags who are incapable of following their own charters.
The cretins at Media City probably dared each other for a bet to see if they could put together the piece about The Etihad without mentioning us and were high fiving each other during the broadcast

Compare and contrast our publically funded broadcaster with an independent report I heard last night on TV which started;
"The footballer Marcus Rashford was amongst several people who has criticised some of the food parcels distributed to families as a replacement for FSM"
Followed by a factually accurate piece about some of the poor meal packages distributed.
A great piece that covered the salient points and was factually correct.

Contrast with the BBC version which based on previous reporting I have seen would have been something like:
"Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford has criticised the quality of some of the food parcels provided as a substitute for FSM.
The Manchester United footballer who can be seen here scoring for Manchester United against PSG took to Twitter and said..."

Who actually regulates the BBC?
They're going downhill faster than Franz Clammer and the standard of reporting and quality of their output is getting worse.

From Roan keeping his job after sneering at the recently deceased Leicester City owner at the side of the smouldering wreckage of his helicopter to Stone promoting Tag Heuer watches whilst being paid by the licence payer to report on a club tour and the arrogant, pathetic wriggling during the Pete the Badge incident when several posters on here called them out for basically bullying a vulnerable person.

If they were a commercial organisation they can report how they like but it boils my piss at having to pay a license fee to pay for this shite even if I never watch anything on the BBC.

Forgetting all the snide digs at City how he has been allowed to carry on after the helicopter incident is incredible.
