Journalists tend to be at the mercy of the headline writers, which many people reading these things don't understand. I know Jonathan and he's one of the sensible ones.

He wrote a piece 2 weeks ago saying City were never going to catch liverpool with signings like Aké and Ferran.

And now he's written an article bemoaning Pep buying a great player and not getting hidden gems and coaching them.

Doesn't sound very sensible.

The press stories today were hilarious. The "Bought and Paid For" dickheads were in their element.
There really is no defence for them anymore. Biased, ignorant and totally bent. The story of how sports journalism in the UK died. Sadly I don't think normal journalism is any different.

Don’t worry chaps.

Le Parisien reporting Pep is joining PSG with Messi according to a former player ITK...
If that happened I can see the equivalent of 4th July celebrations going on with the UK press.

Is anyone else fed up with that Lewis Hamilton bloke winning races and F1 titles simply because he’s the best driver in the best car?
It’s totally unfair and I for one will consider him to be a total fraud until he wins back-to-back titles in a 1978 Ford Fiesta.

Surely the Media mention Mercedes links to the Third Reich, slave labour and having been fined millions for not meeting standard CAFE requirements in every article about Hamilton's success.

This already done the rounds. Whilst he’s proud of what Paris can offer he hasn’t seen the curry mile.

BBC doing their bit, https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53967083
1st bit of news on this day about Messi they've done -
Reporting the news from la liga that there is a reported 700m clause.

Nothing in article or any other news (other than gossip roundup) about any particular club hoping to sign him.

But readers do get the adde bonus of the usual 2 Liverpool non-stories:
How Klopp had to comeoff holiday when offered job.
What Salad and Ballon D'or elect thouight about the wait for the title.

The complete sainthood maguire piece is still on the footie pages, 3 days later...

I noticed that too, nothing on the BBC until they found a potential fly in the ointment. And today their featured newspaper image in the gossip section shows the Daily Star's headline that our bid is 'doomed'.

Why the fuck would the BBC be promoting such a laughable 'newspaper' unless of course to placate the hoards of dribbling scousers and rags that have found someone to read it for them.

Sadly not many of the traditional curry houses left. Lots of jewellery shops solicitors and high street fast food outlets.

And that magic smell of spice in the air has gone.
