Only one really. Dortmund was actually bailed out by Bayern at one stage. Dortmund is just a feeder club. German football has been destroyed by Bayern's stranglehold on investors. Schalke with 60,000 crowds have just been relegated. The 50 plus one model would destroy English football by making it impossible to invest. They have a different fan ownership model in Spain which has ensured domination by Barca and Real for decades and creamed off most of the money.

Very true,

Can't see why people want to push it

The people pushing it are the media who will do anything to avoid losing their entire business to a pay-per-view or subscription model run by the clubs themselves. SKY Sport will go out of business and their staff will lose their jobs without the football cash cow. But you can't uninvent the technology. If United can sell 50m digital season tickets to global fans (and City perhaps half that) then it will happen some day. The main thing for me is that whatever the new structure is we must preserve the pyramid at all costs.

I thought Nasri's was pretty special too.
I wouldn't know.

We got in the ground late so, in order to catch kick off, skipped going to the bogs, despite about 12 pints of Guinness sloshing around inside me. Half time and the bogs had half the ground queuing to get in so I thought Id leave it until second half got under way.
Yaya scored that peach of a goal so I took my chance and headed for the bog. Me and about 10 others, all mid-flow, were oohing at the pleasure of emptying bladders when Nasri scores his.
Cue wet shoes as we all said, almost choreographed, FU*K !!! When do we ever score 2 in a minute !!
My lads have never let me live it down.

It's not very sensible for someone who works for a local paper to get into a public slanging match with his potential readers. In fact it's totally unprofessional and undermines his credibility (and supposed impartiality) I don't think his employers would be impressed or any City-supporting advertisers (that's a lot of people in the Manchester area) for that matter.
