All very positive stuff....
Thanks for posting.
A very concise and informative summary given by someone who was just stating the actual stats which backed up his conclusion City are the team to beat in the league this year.
He gave reasons why the rotation in place from Pep is not only currently working but how it will help us as we move along a very hectic schedule, acknowledges the influence Gundogan and Dias have had on our season whilst we have had virtually no forwards available and unlike other journalists like Stone at the BBC states how controlled the game was against Sheffield Utd.
Also recognises the month ahead is going to be a very hard one and correctly states nothing is decided as yet for the title, but we are obviously very much the team to beat.
Also as already posted, correctly states that even though Pep has been given lots of money through his managerial career, that the money does not guarantee success and uses Allardyce as an example of if given such money would not be in the position Pep is, 500 wins in 673 games at all his clubs.
Amazing stats currently for City, but even more amazing how much we are ignored and even sneered at and treated with such contempt and disdain by the so called ‘press’ of this country.
If we continue on our current path, and I acknowledge that at the moment it is in no shape or form guaranteed with the scheduling of this season, surely we must not only win the title and have an outstanding chance in other comps, but our manager and team must receive the plaudits and awards they both not only would deserve but will have earned through hard work and a team spirit that currently seems to be soaring.
The reality is that our press/media will continue to sneer and deride at every opportunity, ignore the actual form and stats that are in front of them, rejoice in any defeats we have, put our opponents on a pedestal no matter if deserved or not, and continue with their collective heads in the sand whilst recycling at every opportunity the same agenda/bias they have held against our owners and team since day one of the takeover.
