Mark Ogden has had to issue an apology for comments made off camera about Harry Kane which he didn't realise were being aired.

I can't stand the tw*t but thought the big female presenter came off the worst. Ogden also has the nerve to suggest somebody else is boring, the guy has the personality of a tin of baked beans.

Funny, read his apology on Twitter; not once does he say ‘I’m’ sorry, or take any ounce of ownership - it’s;

We
Our
Our
And we

in that order. The man can’t even apologise.

They're all like that though quick to have a pop in safety (not that I'm suggesting violence) and 'apologise' in a shit way...my mum always used to say at least sound like you mean it.

The other stance they use is the free press and they feel scared from a reprisal.

Fucking fannies the lot of them.

Am I being cynical or or the rags using the sad news about Charlton as a PR tool to distract from yesterday's shit show?

All of a sudden they give a fuck about Jeff Astles charity and raising awareness of it.
Being cynical does not mean you are wrong. My own cynicism made me wonder why after the BBC the lengthy pre prepared piece they did, they hastily added that Norma Charlton had given her permission for his condition to be made public was to raise awareness. Fair enough but where did that come from? A call from down the Road?

Perhaps it was just coincidence that the same programme had shown a very touching follow up piece about Amanda suffering from the same condition but who had composed a popular piano piece which is now a best seller with some monies going to raise the awareness of the condition. A business man online donated a million pounds to two charities and two ladies concerned with those charities spoke movingly about the need to raise awareness.
Two minutes later the BBC insert that Lady Norma wanted awareness herself and they mention iti n every report since.

I dont know what he meant but l thought your sweeping comment about City fans who have a different opinion was a twattish one similar to those members of Redcar or RAWK might make
I can’t stand anyone who can’t think for themselves. Seems to be a lot of sheep jumping on the Sam Lee bandwagon. That’s all.

I see the BBC are going on about the best free kick takers and free kick to goals %. Now unless I’m dreaming didnt Yaya score 10 in 13 in the prem in one season? He’s not even mentioned.

He was, but I think they've taken it from the top freekick scorers in the PL. Toure isn't on the list, so presumably he didn't score enough.

Spurs beat the rags 1-6 recently, must still weigh heavy on these twats minds, and as for mofos!!!! fits perfectly these entitled twats who think they are above it all. They make a "career" off the back of the likes of H Kane, and as soon as they think they can get away with it are dissing him off like hes nobody.

Whoever employs these nomarks should think very carefully about how easily the insults came from these over arrogant "mofos".

I felt dirty posting it.

Just a feeling they are taking the PR piss.
Well it worked for Sir Marcus, now that is losing the impact it first had the PR machine moves into a different topic and the compliant BBC oblige.

Presuming 'set piece goals' don't include penalties then @bluebanana83 is correct I think. 2012-13 season, 10 from 13 attempts.

Edit: that's just the 1 season at that.

Such a shame he's sullied his reputation with some fans cos he was one hell of a player. Absolute beast

Insincere or not, probably the latter, at least pressure was put on to get an apology.
Our toothless club get nothing not even the disgraceful comments made about David Silva and his son.
I got the impression that those two are not the only members of the media who are none too kind about St Harry despite the way they write their reports .

Perhaps they are all in the right and you are wrong?
But they are blues and this hero of yours is a rag. Without direct knowledge of the posters or this particular journo my instinct and loyalty makes me side with blues. And always will given the shite the mefmediaia have used against us.

Sure, it's a surprise he's not on the list. I assume that setpieces in that caption must include penalties though - I think he got 6 that season, so only 4 freekicks.

I was working on the basis that the BBC page is right that Toure did not get 8 or more. Transfermarkt is the usual source for hackdom, and it only shows 4 PL freekicks total for him, and only 7 in total for City.

I dont really understand your point. Are you saying he reported ffp incorrectly?..

I was saying he lost credibility when he revealed his expert Ffp whats app group.
Which included Miguel Delaney . Miguel Delaney a person to gain information from about Ffp and the Eufa ban, couldn't be taken seriously after that, (obviously you still do )

He has a 25 quid sports journalist course if you are interested.
P.s we are not signing Joules Kounde'
