just sent this to the bbc complaints department because i am bored lol i wont hold my breath for an honest reply lol

garth crooks team of the year.

could you please explain how one of your highly paid football pundits ( garth crooks ) doesnt know who won the Golden Glove award for 19/20 season ? .
why wasnt his piece proof read to make sure he knew his facts ?
This is yet another 'mistake' your football department keeps making regarding anything to do with Manchester City from stating City are state own to not knowing that the Manchester City keeper won the golden glove award for 19/20.
I really dont care who crooks thinks is the best keeper , couldnt care less. BUT he should only print the TRUTH Alison didnt not win the golden gloves award. So why do you allow your pundits to repeatedly tell untruths about Manchester City. Why didnt your sports editor spot this school boy error ?

He may not be as thick as you think. He may have done that deliberately, don't forget, if you tell a lie enough times people will believe it. In a few years time all the lies told about us will be entrenched in people's small minds, from Alison won the Golden Gloves to we failed FFP.

I did wonder if he was using his own criteria and using clean sheets per minute or game played but even then he'd come second to our Eddy.

Can't say I'm surprised he got it wrong however as he's become The Grauniad of the individual expert* world.


*a very loose term.

I think it is a deliberate piece of misinformation.
Someone doing the job of picking the team of the week cannot have made such a basic error.

Liverpool's poor result was played down so much this morning it was almost underground and so late on the Sports coverage l thought it was being omitted. MOTD last night must have been fun - a whole programme devoted to one crap match

But surely they aren't seriously suggesting that if said club or individual disagrees with said post or poster that they shouldn't be able to disagree or show it up as b0ll0cks?

If we all just accepted what was spoonfed to us, Sterling wouldn't have demonstrated a clear racial undertone in their writing only about a year or so ago.

It's as though they believe they should be beyond reproach...........

Nice one Gordon. Let's see how long it takes the BBC to correct this "mistake". It was still wrong a few minutes ago when I looked.
