Just after Phil scores on the live bbc match report simple Simon posts this....

After going top of the Premier League yesterday, there was some more good news for Manchester United today as new signing Amad Diallo did a solo training session after completing his £19m move from Atalanta.

‘I have attended scores of press conferences over the last three years where Pep Guardiola's handling of Phil Foden has been questioned.
It has generally been along the lines of Foden not getting enough chances, particularly compared to Jadon Sancho, who flourished after leaving Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund.
But watching Foden now, you can see Guardiola's guiding hand.
It looks like his development has been handled perfectly.’

Re apprentices, that guy is 100% wrong. A switched on dad would look for a club that gave the best education, in football, academically and in life. This idea that you should choose a club with a pathway had been around a long time and is about as useful as the old 'you can't practise penalties' nonsense. Clue: That genius David Pleat said it every week at one time.

Like many blues I gave up watching $ly Sports News years ago.

No doubt it will have been wall to wall United top of the table today.

Talk S*te is no different.

Add BBC United, the papers, etc, and the Rags have got the football media in this country wrapped up.

City will never win that battle, hence why they've given up trying, bar the odd occasion when they issue a statement.

Every city fan should just cancel if any left & just not respond to any tweets from them, it’s clear retaliatory for schooling them & the bait they’ve used is the shittest article ever, they keep outdoing themselves here.

Keep winning City & let’s all concentrate on that, I’m actually enjoying being ignored whilst breathing down their necks.

Interesting interview here from last summer with the acclaimed film director Paul Greengrass, who was behind the Granada TV investigation.
Turns out Edwards was not only bribing the families of young players and supplying rotten meat to the poorest children in Manchester and Cheshire, he was also cynically ripping off the families of Munich disaster victims
