I have said that very thing in some of the post match threads - although not today ;).It's like any player competition. An individual player does not stand out say like a striker at any other team, our goals are distributed.
Midfield we have KDB Gundi and Canc taking turns to shine not seemingly relying on a single player to shine.
We are a team filled with team players who trust and rely on each other for results.
Let other teams have their star individual game after game we have a full team that stars game after game.
You take that back!
On the other hand players must be thinking I cant make myself look a twat and argue my case coz this fucker Pep seems to know what hes doing !I have said that very thing in some of the post match threads - although not today ;).
We're winning as a total squad, we have such a luxury of talent and Pep's job must be almost impossible at times telling players they're being left out.
Id say we are more Johnny Cash. Brilliant back in the day, a couple of dodgy decades that sullied our legacy before a triumphant return to greatness once we got backing from the right manI know. I’m a bit of a music snob - I was going to use an analogy of an obscure post punk band from the early 80s - to show how cool I am - but realised how popular Phil (RIP) is on here so I went populist.
Apologies to all other music snobs ;-)

More chance of being struck by lightningSte's article reminded me; has that cheating ping pong playing **** apologised yet?
What a fantastic piece thanks for posting
No, despite an express undertaking that he would.Ste's article reminded me; has that cheating ping pong playing **** apologised yet?
Brilliant show of pain & disgust from them.Sky just did a new one. They just flashed up a table of teams where they added the goals they have scored with the goals that they have also let in and used this to say which teams are the most entertaining. Apparently Leeds are top because even though they have scored less goals than us they have also let in shit loads. City weren't in this table due to us having a decent defence. I guess City are just not that entertaining according to Sky!
Even more than his original pop at City, his footballers should just get on with it and play games as normal annoyed the fuck out of me as he delivered that pearl of wisdom via zoom rather than in sky's studio during a paper review.Ste's article reminded me; has that cheating ping pong playing **** apologised yet?
He also looks like a rat.Even more than his original pop at City, his footballers should just get on with it and play games as normal annoyed the fuck out of me as he delivered that pearl of wisdom via zoom rather than in sky's studio during a paper review.
He's a right sly twat.
Man with a Qatar pay cheque sticks boot into a team who's owner lives in the UAE. Quelle surprise.Fuck me Keys on Bein sticking the boot in. C#nt
How quickly things change. Of course it helps, enormously so, that City have the resources they do – and nobody should ever allow themselves to forget the source of that wealth – but none of this was inevitable.
''How quickly things change. Of course it helps, enormously so, that City have the resources they do – and nobody should ever allow themselves to forget the source of that wealth.'' The scribblings of Jonathan Wilson in the Guardian just now. I don't know how people like him have the brass neck to turn up at our ground, accept our hospitality and churn out shite like that. Thankfully he decided not to allow comments on the article.
No it would never been written about any other team. It’s ridiculous, what is the issue with the ‘source of the wealth’?Jonathan Wilson https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...y-have-eased-back-to-take-a-huge-leap-forward
I just don't understand why that second sentence is necessary, nor would I expect it to be written for any team other than Man City. Maybe I'm wrong and I don't read enough reports about other teams.
