Yeah true but like it just doesn’t need to be said. I’m not asking for a cheerleader but come on they’re our rivals and our players dont get enough appreciation

now more than ever, the bbc and others will pander to a Utd PR machine that has to be the focus and main story each and every single day and like night follows day, we will dominate yet another domestic and possibly European campaign and not a single one of our players will be recognised for it.

Micah now earns a living commercially and he will say whatever he is told to say. I don't agree with it but that's the reality.

Without Fernandez they wouldn't be second in the league. He is by far and away their outstanding player, where as with us, we are so good as a working unit there is no single outstanding player

Yeah that’s always the case with us but just the whole wording of it is just a bit annoying i guess

As sure as night follows day now and i await the Mason story appearing over the next few hours.

Do journalists now think they can operate in a bubble where they say whatever they like with no recourse whatsoever?

Micah why can’t you back a City player?

Because he is freely entitled to his own opinion and isn't under any obligation to give the pro-City line no matter what.

I don't think Bruno for POTS is a controversial viewpoint. Without him United would be stuffed. The same cannot be said of City as we are a strong team but not reliant on individuals.

Yeah I know he doesn’t have to be pro-city but when so many people are anti city it would be nice to really back one of our for POTY

Has been superb, but so has Stones, and Cancelo and Gundogan and Bernardo

Dias has made us defend better as a team fact that’s the big difference he has made to us! Now if he wasn’t in our team all this season would we have only conceded 16 goals? Like goofy Dias has made a big difference to us as a team this season. Also let’s see where the rags finish and if they win anything they could win nowt and finish 5th with a player who is a stat padder against the poorer teams never shows up in the big games.

The constant pricing up of our bench seems like a weekly thing now.
We should be proud of a wonderfully assembled squad that is all almost playing at their peak at the minute.
On the other side of the City, United have spent a similar amount to us in the last 8 years, have got nowhere near a title, have finished below us every season, and have a bench barely worth talking about.
Juan Mata isn't going to scare anyone

Foden playing over 100 games & destroying the dippers has them searching for new negatives so the cost of the bench is the latest, every year they find a new negative.

I am not disputing Dias has made a difference, but I also believe that reintroducing Bernardo into our first eleven has had a huge impact, and Cancelo thriving in his "free" role has made an enormous difference
Gundogan's goals over the last two months have emphasised how much we are a team and not solely reliant on one single individual

Fernandez plays every game, he has to as they've got fuck all else.

From the bbc sport, report on Leicester vs Arsenal, when were City docked 3 points ?

because he isn't being paid to go with that narrative sadly.
I think also the clue is that the competition is player of the year.
City are obviously team of the year with most players taking it in turns to be the outstanding player.
Other teams have a single player who every game stands out compared with others in his team.
