And Simon Hattenstone. Self-loathing bluesWell David Conn gets lots published in the Guardian.
One of them must be Frank on here. And Simon Hattenstone. Self-loathing blues
I think that’s Colin Shindler, another one of that particularly weird clubOne of them must be Frank on here.
I watched the game with my City mad missus & was driving her nuts with my moaning about the commentary. I thought it was incredibly spurs focused. At nil, nil, they seemed to be just going on & on about what if spurs score? how might spurs score, the longer it goes on spurs might score etc etc etc. Between that & the comments about the ESL, which came across as more anti City then spurs, it drove me fooking mental.Awful commentary today Sky should be ashamed having that old senile bastard Tyler as the best they have. Glad I don’t give any money to them to pay his salary. Mentioned the Ricky Villa goal after 5 minutes!! That that was 40 years ago Tyler you cnut
And 99% of gargoyles look like Bob Todd

As opposed to other teams who happily ditch it to finish 6thBegan reading the match report in the Guardian....
Perhaps Pep Guardiola just ought to keep the trophy. His owners at Manchester City do not seem too bothered about the Carabao Cup; they would happily ditch it in the pursuit of a European Super League, of more money and action on the continent.....
Then I thought fuck it and went for a dump.
I see Neville and Carragher have been given an updated tactics board.
I’ve said before that I , as a City fan of over 50 years, know 100s of fellow City fans. I don’t know a single one who is disaffected by our current owners yet the Guardian manages to have at least 3 on their staff. They'll simply interview multiple fans until they get the narrative they want regardless. Then they'll push it as 'the fans have spoken'.
I don't normally like tomatoes John , but this is deliciousAnd 99% of gargoyles look like Bob Todd
And like the bbc they will make one up if they can't find one to fit their narrativeI’ve said before that I , as a City fan of over 50 years, know 100s of fellow City fans. I don’t know a single one who is disaffected by our current owners yet the Guardian manages to have at least 3 on their staff.
The commentary really was absolutely dire today - the anti-city bias was, as always, clear to see but the overall quality was piss poor.I watched the game with my City mad missus & was driving her nuts with my moaning about the commentary. I thought it was incredibly spurs focused. At nil, nil, they seemed to be just going on & on about what if spurs score? how might spurs score, the longer it goes on spurs might score etc etc etc. Between that & the comments about the ESL, which came across as more anti City then spurs, it drove me fooking mental.
Why do commentators feel the need to constantly editorialise throughout games instead of just describing what is happening?
Anyway, Congratulations to City on a thoroughly well deserved win today.
At least we'll know the cost of our bench. I thought Sky were pretty poor in that department, today ;-)Think today’s commentary was bad wait till Wednesday night and BT ..
