With a straight face? We fucking bossed that 2nd half. They did it to us for 20-25minutes and I was pissed at half time but we didn't let them play the 2nd half. At all.

Really good report from Adam Bate on Sly website. He highlighted how disciplined and calm we were in our second half performance. We had 66 % possession against one of the best teams on the planet.

People should be prepared for more of this.


As the dust settles, there will become a creeping narrative that actually for all of the possession and fancy play, we didn't create much and only scored 2 rather fortunate goals. The big thing being ignored is that it's pretty obvious City took their foot off the gas to kill the game after going 2-1 up after 70 minutes, but ignoring things with City is a must these days.

We'll still be getting plenty of praise from many angles, but be weary of this new critique that'll emerge.

What a moronic comment from James and for an ex pro to come out with a comment like that defies belief.Regarding the did not create much merchants, no we didn't apart from score two goals , Foden had a great effort and KDB almost scored with a fsbulous overhead kick.Not bad considering the opposition, who in the second half barely had the ball in our half !
