It was funny listening to Glen Hoddle. His comments really were moronic and it is clear he is totally inept at tactics. No wonder he was a total failure as a manager. He kept insisting that Palace should hit the ball long and "win the first ball" and then "the second ball." No wonder English international football was a laughing stock for 30 years with people like him as so-called "experts."

It's become 'good tv' for some. I don't like it but have to say my favourite bit of radio was the video of the stunned silence in the Radio 5 studio when Vinnie scored that screamer against Liverpool.

I used to live in Skerton Road, went to Great Stone which was such a fine education establishment they knocked it down and built a PC World (now Lidl), now live above the Lowry over looking the swamp - keep your friends close and enemies even closer; although I refuse to move to Anfield Road as I now dislike utd but detest those lot. I try not to judge people (and I don’t write that without thought, honestly have a go at not judging people, it’s virtually impossible). I try to be open to other peoples opinions, even listening to David Icke even though I disagree with much of what he says. All that said, Glenn Hoddle is the biggest knobhead on the planet (meant in a completely non judgemental way ;)

In other words, a fantastic fit for Spurs. A clinically insane dinosaur is exactly what you need when you are massively in debt.

Glad the memory is still functioning for both of us. Yes there's been some great trips just some get spoiled by being treated like sheep. If we get through on Tuesday hope uefa don't shaft fans by letting them book travel then deciding to change the venue last minute - but when have uefa given a toss about fans (Moscow)
