“Melissa Reddy” (who ?) in the independent manages to shoehorn mentions of the UAE abstaining from a UN vote, Abu Dhabi human rights problems and the dippers league cup final into her supposed match report. Phil’s absolutely huge winner is mentioned briefly almost as an afterthought.

Stupid cow.
Melissa Reddy was a contributor on their fans Vlog (I'm old so forgive me if that's not the correct terminology).
She was on it after we beat them at the Etihad and said we'd not the cut the grass to stop Liverpool's passing game.
She was the ultimate bitter. She's definitely the sort to complain if you opened a door for her.

Many rags also pride themselves on their lack of patriotism with their Republic of Mancunia bull shit. Remember them chanting stand up if you hate England at OT back in the 90s.
City always been a queen and country club ironically Liverpool used to be.
To be fair, everyone booed every rag player that turned out for England in those days. Why would you expect anything else?

What keys is saying, is.......

Liverpool.
Arsenal.
Chelsea.
Villa
Spurs

weren't good enough to slug it out with City in those 5 Carabao Cup finals.

Even though he doesn't mean it, take it as a compliment.

You won't get him praising City as he works for Qatar.(beIN Sports, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG, etc)

Keys has got a cushy job, a wonderful lifestyle, and gets paid a fortune to be the face and mouth piece of Qatar Football via beIN Football.

Espn:

"Manchester United's treble success in 1999, when Sir Alex Ferguson's team won the league, FA Cup and Champions League, remains the high-water mark in the English game. Liverpool managed their own cup treble in 2001 by winning both domestic cups and the UEFA Cup, and Manchester City won all three domestic trophies in 2019, but nobody has ever come close to a quadruple."

Mentioning the famous Liverpool treble of 2001.....

It's seems she was in South Africa for most of her life and therefore most of her football education was gained through Sky TV.

fa cup semi & champs league final was fairly close

or

out in champs league qtr on away goals having had a goal disallowed by VAR after the Final whistle wasn’t too shabby an attempt.

So, it can be perceived that we got away with one for a change. Couple this along with a late winner for us and you can almost guarantee more than one or two things.

All round indignation.
Labelled worse decision ever.
Numpties spouting how we always get decisions.
Bought the refs and VAR.
Talk of rule changes.
Scousers bewailing it's not fair.
Absolutely nothing positive said about City finding a way to win.
Bouncing back to go 6 clear now irrelevant.
Once the bile has been spewed the fact we won is buried under a deluge of shite.
Hairy handed nonce's talking shite about us.
Shearer looking like he's got a bad case of IBS on MOTD.
Wankfest over one of Dippers or Rags for some bollocks.
An article in the echo about it actually benefits Liverpool. (Not happened yet but probably will)

There is a sea of c*nts in this country and there is probably many more, but you get the idea.
