Just heard the knobhead while out driving. I thought no way can Kevin not be his number one pick. Should have known better from the dullard plastic Scouse ****.

Tbh, I don't even know where you start to sort out United.
Infrastructure - stadium and training facilities - abysmal, need major investment.
Off-field management - Useless.
Football management - Temporary. No clear vision of where to go next.
Playing staff - average at best. Several overpaid players who should be retired.
Fans - ridiculously entitled, still with the 'We Are Manchester United!' attitude.
Their only asset is that the club somehow still generates a vast income.

If you want to fix united (I don't), you need to start with the media and stop them blowing smoke up the arse of any player they sign (apparently they are all world beaters or the missing piece in the puzzle) or that comes through the youth ranks (always the next giggs/best/ronaldo/etc or a future england captain). To enable them to either become good players or to be able to offload easily if they aren't. But as they are all greats they get huge contracts so stay and block progress or signings to replace them.

But, and here is the beauty of the current set up, the media need them to be great because it generates clicks. An article about the next Giggs or the £80m player for £40m will generate more money for the media than, united sign decent squad player or youngster not quite good enough yet but given an opportunity to develop.

And so the cycle continues, change the manager, buy more worldies, promote a young kid - all generate money for the media and stops united actually moving forward as a club.

I got stuck in traffic on the M6 coming north yesterday (missed the first 20 minutes) and had talkshite on. (I'd had enough of the war by that point.)

They started talking about the game at 5 past 4, The first 5 minutes was all about Liverpool and that they are going to win the league. The next 20 minutes was that the rags were going to win today.

It was a relief to park up and walk the last mile.
To be fair to them (and I can't stand the station most of the time) the first hour (or between 13:30-14:30, wasn't sure of the time)of the show was about the with basically Perry Groves saying if City turn up then they win the game, also he wanted City to win to benefit Arsenal

That was such a bizarre call. What she essentially argued was that roughly 60 players who've made an appearance for United since Ferguson left have all, at one time or another, downed tools to get a manager sacked. This has apparently happened to Ragnick, Solskjaer, Mourinho, Van Gaal, and Moyes over a period of 9 years.

Lol. Someone hasn't connected the dots.
Mike Phelan....surely someone at United will realise he's a fucking jinx ?

Seriously, if all those managers with the money they've spent can't halt the decline then it must be down to the CEO and DIrector of Football.
