Mansour is a smart business man, he initially throws his money in then he gets it back. Look at how he made a killing propping Barclays Bank up in 2008. If you have brains and you invest wisely you get a return, something Jordan didn’t do with Crystal Palace.
We made almost as much in TV and prize money last year as Mansour paid for the entire club.
Likewise, the sales of shares to Silverlake and the Chinese investment group.
These cretins are still perpetrating dog whistle racist tropes from the 70s and 80s of spendthrift Arab playboys buying up half of Mayfair and blowing £100k in a single casino visit, rather than seeing them for what they really are - smart, multilingual, internationally educated and globally connected operators who know exactly what they are doing when it comes to business.
They have invested in an underperforming asset to significantly increase its value, before selling minority stakes to cover their initial investment.
Textbook business but yeah, it’s actually all about ‘sportswashing’
Our owners are operating on a totally different planet to these intellectual midgets who are simply projecting their own anger and biases, and believing what they want to be going on, rather than what actually is going on.

Comparing our ownership with Chelski's who is best buddie with a despot who is threatening WW3 is a bit of a stretch by anyone's imagination ,but it just confirms the state of our media , they will print / post anything that will attract clicks or sell newsprint , they are all open to the highest bidder , truth and facts are immaterial.
Just listening to the Brighton/Dipper game preview compared to our match previews on BT Sport , its like chalk and cheese that long streak of piss and closet Dipper Humphreys sticking his tongue right up the Dippers backsides. But when we won at the Goons he called VAR and the decisions in favour of our club corrupt , thankfully i cancelled BT Sport when Humphrey's disrespected our club and BT are now a grand a year worse off without my landline, mobile etc and currenty watching on a decent stream on my laptop .
But i've decided to switch off because Brighton cant defend and are in an awful run of form so expect the Dippers will annihalate them today , and another Dipper / ClubshopKlopp love- in would be vomit inducing.

Perusing The Times sports section and came across Simon Jordan article, thought he might mention us and guess what?……

”Mansour waltzing in and distort the financial ecosystem by throwing enormous sums at it”…..

“dirty cash”……..

can’t let it go
It was an interesting read. Yes he gets his usual dig in about City but its much more limited in its content than he spouts on Talkshite. The Times probably realises that they could be sued for some of his comments and would be if printed in the Times. Whereas taking legal action against Talkshite would be like bringing the Beano to court. You just wouldn't do it.

do you see as well especially from newcastle fans in social media, when articles are posted re the Saudis and their ownership, and then barcodes saying:

"why havent you mentioned City's finances in last 15 years at all?"
"why their UAE connection was never a problem in last decade"

i cannot get my head around it :D, like did they not read news in last 10 years of all the hacks bringing City's name into the mud as well as rival clubs and Uefa, ffp, cas, and the human right whatsapppgroup daily attacks?

Your last sentence sums it all up perfectly. "Intellectual midgets"; quite so.

The ale is strong up there, a price to pay.
