I think he wrote the article as desired by his Editor.
I could be wrong but I got the impression he was told to tone his anti-city bile down a bit, in his latest article. I found myself thinking: "Oh... That's all you have for us, Nick?". Maybe there was more I missed, because I didn't even read his summary. Everyone knew the real motivation for his survey and the sentiment likely for the follow up article, so I was expecting much worse.

I hope he was told to tone it down by his editor(on the City hate) and I hope he was really pissed off about it, just for the comedy value(he spent weeks on this). "But But sir... that was the whole point of my article". If even the editors at the Guardian think you've lost the plot with anti-City bias, you really should reflect on what is you're doing and assess your mental state.

No need to back track. I think it is hugely relevant. He is a killer does it really matter how he kills ? I would say not but a killer who is a cannibal, now that is serious shit. We look on it as one of the most disgusting things you can do. For a paper to make up that kind of stuff is disgraceful.
Really I was just disgusted how the press can make things up and make money/click bait etc out of situations of all kinds.
There was a guy who the press labelled a freak and paedophile in Bristol a few yrs ago who was landlord of a murdered young woman.
He hadn't done it some Dutch guy had, but the landlord did manage to sue the press and won, which I was very happy about.

Sometimes it’s not just the press printing crap… sometimes it’s just the dumb public.
I remember a case (in South Wales iirc), where a mob attacked the joint house/workspace of a person for being a paedophile.
The reason - they had their name and job title on a brass plate.
‘Dr Somebody - paediatrician’

I was watching BBC Parliament - it was a committee about the Intergrated Railway Plan. I know I am very sad.
The two gentlemen being quizzed was the Chair of Network Rail and Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission. Whilst the Chair of the N. I. C. was speaking the mobile of the Chair of Network Rail went off...

It was "Mind the gap"

I hope said chairman is a diehard Man City supporter.

If not, I have just lost five minutes of my life.
I think the latter is far more likely mate ..!

Think that was in Portsmouth, the Paulsgrove estate?

I think Vicky Kloss and our PR department are sat in their office at the Etihad absolutely pissing their pants with laughter at the cranks in the media peddling their shite.
As much as I'd love our club to publicly humiliate every single one of them wankers who disguise themselves as journalists, sometimes not retaliating and saying a single word speaks much much more than words and paragraphs would.
You obviously can't retailiate on every occasion but there is no doubt that our reputation has been damaged by the negative smear campaign us in recent years. Personally I don't believe the club have been proactive enough in tackling some of the worst culprits. One of the reasons we get such negative coverage is we are seen as a soft touch by some elements of the media. You can't blame our PR team though because their strategic instructions will come from the top of CFG.

Mind boggling but scary all the same.

Sky reporting there is no potential for the Superleague to be revived.
starts off with 2 clips of us, one flag with traitors on it , one with shame on you, banner at Dippers and mentions owners of us, Liverpool and Chelsea backtracked. Making it look like we were the main club involved.
no mention of any other team involved or we were the 1st to walk away.
Up Rags arse as usual with zero mention of them or the others involved
As I have mentioned on many occasions journalism in the main stream not just in sport but all areas has become increasingly distanced from the truth. Like a drunk who can't remember their misdemeanors of the night before they strike out at those who question their actions I suggest you find whatever solace and insight can be found outside of this ever depreciating circus and listen to sensible alternative voices.
