Who even reads The Star!?He can attack us as much as he likes, I wasn't aware the Star was still being published and I doubt that many still read it.

We will see how they commemorate Heysel at the end of May , don't hold your breath. Two semi religious ceremonies yesterday, one after the other.
The first was a pre planned singing of that song from Carousel - every single note, every single flag and banner shown with the TV and match officials taking their servile and reverential part in it.
Then there was the Hillsborough silence. I always respect such silences if they occur and l expect every one else to do it. But how long do are Liverpools opponents going to have to take part? Is it going to take place for ever and a day like United's Munich Commemoration seems to? United as a club never bothered for many yearswcen removing the floral tributes left by fans as 'rubbish' within minutes. I know of crowd disasters happening at Bolton, Celtic and Bradford but these never seem to be mentioned
generally. Perhaps clubs hve a more private event. Did Liverpool have anything at home during the week which might have been a more appropriate place to do it. I don't recall the taking the knee yesterday. Did they do it?
The media and others have criticised Blues for booing yesterday. Fair enough. But all the booing that Sterling gets every time we play Liverpool and some other clubs continues after 7 years and commentators never mention it or just don't hear it.
Finny old world innit.
I thought it was Chelsea who did ityep dont see the scousers ever having a minutes silence for Heysel. oh wait they want that one swept under the carpet?
The Athletic is selling subscriptions for a quid a month and comments seem full of trolls. It's a shame because there used to be some genuinely good stuff but it's now just a fanzine for the red tops.take comfort that in 10 years barely any of these people will have a job as print media dies.
does anyone know how The Athletic has done generally since it was started?
ExactlyI get what you're saying and, mostly, I agree.
They was a small a tribute paid in the last round v Forest and again in the semi final yesterday. Nobody would be surprised if there's a third event planned also buuut... it's worth adding no matter what anyone's opinion on the over-playing and the manipulation/commecialisation of certain football tragedies, those are arguments for another day.
Quite simply, there is absolutely nothing to be gained by disrupting a minute's silence.
Those who did so yesterday let all of us down.
Be further away from HQ than Old Trafford?Today, the BBC sports website home page is swamped with Liverpool stories (as above) and the chance to see their goals - again.
Will the winner of today's semi-final will not get the same overkill, on tomorrow's homepage ?
If you scroll down far enough, you will eventually see a mention of our Women's team's victory, yesterday. An absolute disgrace for the Women's game and MCFC women who are playing superb football.
What have City done to upset the BBC ?
We are usurpers! We have usurped one of the places reserved by the nation's broadcaster for MANUre or the Dippers. They want both at the top table and if we are beaten by one of their 'annointed' then they go into overdrive and there isn't another sporting event on the planet that can be crowbarred into a square centimetre of webspace - all taken over by the red shite, either end of the East Lancs.. . . . . . . .
