The next 24 days are going to be atrocious to watch listen to in all of our media.
When we go through this evening it will really show the bias against us.
Keep the good recent form going and spoil thier party big style will make for a nice summer.
Come on City
We will obviously be facing a ban again if we go through tonight in tomorrow's media

Take out the £100m splurge on Grealish and the squad prices are more than comparable.

Especially so, if you factor we bought Fern in 2014 and now 37 and another facing prison.
Yes but don’t forget net spend , oil money and no history blah blah blah

Never really understood the bollocks about net spend.... I'm sure our net spend would be less than most had we sold the likes of Kompany, Aguero, Yaya, Silva, Zabaleta, Hart etc in their prime and cashed in and not got the years we did out of them then let them leave for nothing.
what it means is you improve a player or get lucky that someone beleives the hype and over pays for a player that doesnt want to stay at the club in the first place

Can anyone tell me where I can find the bbc's 'Is Diego Simeone underrated ' ? I've read the Ancelotti one they've done this morning so I must have missed it yesterday

Theyre always going on about having to sell to spend, but have they actually sold who they'd have wanted to keep? I think only Coutinho and Sterling (but they had Ibe, so that was okay).

And as for Coutinho, to use one of their quotes, "what was the next highest bid?". He was massively overpriced. And why?

Well, everyone knew Barca were loaded after selling Neymar to PSG for £200m of 'oil money'. Barca used that 'oil money' to buy Coutinho and Liverpool used it to buy Allison and Van Dijk.

A team built on oil money, who'd have thought it...

Though they'd say it doesn't count as oil money now. Well at what point does the money become 'clean'? It almost sounds like money laundering in some ways, which they should be familiar with due to having Standard Chartered and Western Union a sponsors.

This all has been swept under the carpet.

The parties involved, the timing and amounts involved conveniently solved problems for them all. Record amounts of money for players changed hands with no questions raised.
