Listening to Graham Souness yesterday said everything.

Winning the title was ALWAYS the priority for him , teammates and LFC back in the day, the most difficult and rewarding trophy to win.

Cups are great, wonderful memories of the winning day, but the rewards of hard grind for 9 months of the year should never be underestimated.

I like Souness as a pundit and he was telling the truth here. Quality footballer as well

I’d be more concerned why they are pushing it’s down to last game of season what happens if Southampton win tomorrow ( I don’t think they will ) to much money and media narrative pushing about the last game winner takes all,they know already the red scousers will win on Tuesday..
