Had this misfortune of reading it yesterday but reaffirmed that I'll forever ignore this moron.

Apathy and hopelessness is quite a statement when we've arguably the two most dramatic title wins in recent history. I'd argue City invoke the most emotions, as every fucker is talking about us.
He is a Spurs reporter.

5live seemed surprised by how many ‘anyone but Liverpool’ texts they were getting this morning from fans of all clubs in their CL build up ‘who do you want to win?’ debate. Slowly dawning realisation?
The media are totally out of touch with the every day person. They think because of the amount of liverpool fans out there they need to peddle the cult propaganda for likes and clicks, it does get you so far but more people hate Liverpool than like them.

I’ve got mates of lower league clubs and they hate United and Liverpool just behind their local rivals, with City they’re fairly positive about.

I find this true as well. All my mates who support a wide cross of clubs, Chelsea, Middlesborough, Arsenal, Newcastle, Spurs, Rochdale, Villa, Sheff Weds and especially Everton want a Madrid win over Liverpool.

No they don't. Both MuEN and Echo are owned by Reach (formerly Trinity Mirror) both printed at Hollinwood, Owdam. MuEN moved their offices into there a few years ago. The bias is there though ...
It was an hypothetical post.

While watching the pre match Villa build up, the so called neutral experts were saying how all the pressure was on City and how there were so many permutations that could go wrong for us. It was never once considered that City just might actually win the title.
Later on that night on MOTD, a disapproving Shearer and Wright were discussing City’s financial backing as if somehow Liverpool were a club who relied solely on freebies and loans to sign players and as if their entire revenue was generated through the sales of replica shirts in Toxteth and Knotty Ash.
Make no mistake, if that lot win tomorrow night, the whole of the U.K. will never hear the end of it.

Joe Bray of MUEN trying to tell City fans that it's in City's best interests to support Liverpool rather than Madrid on Saturday. As if that's going to happen!

That idiot has written a few pro-Cult articles recently. Pure clickbait, obviously written to order by his higher ups at Reach

Exactly. I live in Derbyshire nowadays, and my kids play footy in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Notts. I know and talk to a lot of football fans, some of whom are my mates.

In the last week I have had messages or met people including strangers of clubs in all sorts of leagues who wanted us to win the league and told me so, telling me how much they don't like Liverpool or wanted City, NOT them to win the league. Supporters of these clubs that I have met: Barnsley, Chelsea, Chesterfield, Derby County, Everton, Man Uniturd, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland.

That's just my personal experience.I suspect that many people in this country are repelled by Liverpool and the fawning biased media treatment of them.

I have spoken to Derby, both Sheffield clubs, and Rotherham supporters who do go over to watch City sometimes because they like the football and our club.

All of the people I spoke to recently who don't support Liverpool readily and unprompted told me they wanted City to win and told me either how much they didn't want Liverpool to win the league or how much and why they loathe them.

I have yet to meet a Uniturd fan who wanted Liverpool to win. OK hardly a surprise but it's Hobson's Choice for many

I understand Chelsea fans were chanting "Come on City" last Sunday.

Sure there are loads of jealous green eyed monsters who go on about our money but there are many many people who like City because of the football the Boys in Blue play, the way they behave, and because there is a respect for City fans who have done the hard yards.
