Exactly. I live in Derbyshire nowadays, and my kids play footy in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Notts. I know and talk to a lot of football fans, some of whom are my mates.

In the last week I have had messages or met people including strangers of clubs in all sorts of leagues who wanted us to win the league and told me so, telling me how much they don't like Liverpool or wanted City, NOT them to win the league. Supporters of these clubs that I have met: Barnsley, Chelsea, Chesterfield, Derby County, Everton, Man Uniturd, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland.

That's just my personal experience.I suspect that many people in this country are repelled by Liverpool and the fawning biased media treatment of them.

I have spoken to Derby, both Sheffield clubs, and Rotherham supporters who do go over to watch City sometimes because they like the football and our club.

All of the people I spoke to recently who don't support Liverpool readily and unprompted told me they wanted City to win and told me either how much they didn't want Liverpool to win the league or how much and why they loathe them.

I have yet to meet a Uniturd fan who wanted Liverpool to win. OK hardly a surprise but it's Hobson's Choice for many

I understand Chelsea fans were chanting "Come on City" last Sunday.

Sure there are loads of jealous green eyed monsters who go on about our money but there are many many people who like City because of the football the Boys in Blue play, the way they behave, and because there is a respect for City fans who have done the hard yards.
An arsenal fan I spoke to literally yesterday, from London but lives up here now, literally told me the media needs to crawl out of Liverpool’s arses.

One day the media will wake up but at the moment I think they’re too scared.

Joe Bray of MUEN trying to tell City fans that it's in City's best interests to support Liverpool rather than Madrid on Saturday. As if that's going to happen!

Think I'll pass on that one if Mr Bray doesn't mind. Klopp and Henderson have done what anyone would expect in offering congratulatory messages, but has anyone seen anything off scrawny neck and any other club officials?

This would be ideal.
A lot of people were critical of Sky etc for covering the Ten Haag interview but, in fairness, United haven't yet sank to the stage where the introduction of their new manager isn't world news. Say what you like about the rags but their PR department is top of the range. They knew exactly what they were doing in arranging that first interview when they did. Particularly, given the two clubs who could have won the league last Sunday, it was a win-win distraction tactic for that lot.
Equally, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain by unveiling one of the most sought-after young players in the world say, this Sunday.
Somehow, I don't think we will though. Rightly or wrongly, our owners seem steadfastly intent on taking the high road when it comes to media manipulation.
Spot on, our PR is slightly becoming better but we can do better. Our PR department needs to keep up the hype levels by announcing him soon then soon after drop his first day at City etc..
