Attention seeking in the search for credibility for his one man crusade.
Exactly that. Now grandstanding for attention because he's pigeon-holed himself to the point thinks he can make a shilling out of it.

Yep, totally performative and got the response he wanted. He will now portray himself as a fearless crusader for truth and will get plenty of back slaps and praise from his fellow sportswashing cranks. Wasn't it a header back to Joe who had unfortunately come off his line to collect a cross so it went over his head.City effectively lost the title in 1977 with a 1-1 home draw against Liverpool over the Christmas period when, with City leading for most of the game, Dave Watson inexplicably passed the ball back to Joe Corrigan in the last minute and Joe couldn't turn on the icy surface and it trickled into the net.
I still have flashbacks about that.
My nightmare is Dave Watson headed back from an middle of the half position to Joe who unfortunately was in an Edison position and due to the frozen pitch he couldnt get backWasn't it a header back to Joe who had unfortunately come off his line to collect a cross so it went over his head.
