As usual with Roan it's all about him. He epitomises everything that has gone wrong at the BBC. His Twitter account is 90 per cent him re-tweeting his favourite political causes. He is a joke....at our expense.
Crikey what an exclusive. So he managed to ambush someone and ask a few pathetic questions which were more like his statements rather than questions and which were swatted away with niceties.
Pitiful, lightweight turnip stealing a living.

Dan Roan will be the first 'sportswriter' in the queue for the flights to Qatar when the World Cup starts that's for sure. If any of them were that serious about sports washing they would boycott the the tournament. But how many of them actually will? They will be filling their hypocritical boots with the lavish 'hospitality' and freebies that will get thrown at them. They will then arrive back in England and immediately revert to type. Spineless, hypocritical, cockroaches. All of them.
There appears to be no Editorial control over Roan. He is allegedly the "Sports Editor for BBC News" whatever that means. He seems to flit around the world reporting things based on his own political prejudices. Today he has gone with a film crew to get 30 seconds of footage of the Newcastle United boss at a Pro-Am golf event.
Why isn't he in Switzerland covering the fraud trial of Platini and Blatter which opened today? This is the criminal case after CAS rejected Platini's appeal against his ban. So in this case CAS were the good guys. The media, especially the BBC, portrayed CAS as the bad guys when they cleared City and overturned our ban. Mind you I am sure Roan will get a nice lavish free lunch today at the Centurion Golf Club in Herts. Another example of the fearless journalism we have grown to expect from the BBC these days.

He's probably the office letch and rather than defend numerous sex charges, they keep him out of the office

If "sports washing" exists or even existed then its been an almighty failure

Would make far more sense to buy a media organisation and dictate the narrative like the owners of the NY Times or any of Murdoch's empire, could that be termed "media washing"?
Yes and precisely what Lebedev has done with the Evening Standard and the Independent. Which employs lunatics like Delooney and Evans

Harris and all the other cronies with their sportswashing accusations need to take a long hard look at themselves and ask why this has only become a "thing" since our takeover.

Of course we know the answer really, politicising our club and owners gives them a lot more ammunition to fire at us.

I wish we would do our own "journalist washing" by not having them and their dirty accusations anywhere near our premises or employees.

It seems to me that City have been responsible for a plethora of new words and sayings, as I dont recall hearing such things as sportswashing.....dirty oil money.....financial fair play.....money club....etc before 2008.

These pricks have tried to make all of the above slurs synonymous with our club in an "organised and clear" assault on Manchester City and its owners worth in the world of football.

My own suspicions are that the yank sports owners are happy to pay journalistic whores to carry out their "soiling" of their competitors reputations.

I also think that our owners have done a fantastic job in riding out this shite, by probably taking enough unplublicised action where it matters to them most.

Meanwhile we still have the "little maggots" like harris and roan etc to keep us entertained on this thread, lets face it there would be a lot less to complain about without their inane ramblings.

Also, It looks like some of them are making themselves ill with their hatred and mud slinging, so there is a silver lining.
