Went to the Rolling Stones concert at Anfield last night. Organisation was spot on along with the facilities. Plenty of Manc accents before and during the day and weirdly quite a few Everton shirts on show. The gist of my post is the unnecessary rendition of YNWA after the Stones left the stage before coming back on for the encore.it's been reported in the media that it was some kind of mystical form of encouragement that induced the group to reappear when we all know that at a neutral non sporting event an encore is the norm and Mick and co were probably oblivious to their chorus anyway. What the media didn't report is that they had hijacked an event and made it all about THEM again.Personally I would feel embarrassed if it was reported that Ed Sheeran had been brought to tears at the Etihad rendition of Blue Moon at one of his recent gigs.
I wouldn’t set foot in in that Cesspit, Manc accents but you “weirdly” question why so many Everton fans. Why the fuck would you want to watch a bunch of old Rockers play at that shit hole of a venue is beyond me, there were other places to attend.

I’d rather watch Simply Red at Strangeways.

To be fair i would be embarrassed to be at an Ed Sheeran gig.

Reporting at its finest. Simon Stone on the BBC website making the rags sound like Debenhams.

"The exits of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata mean United are short of numbers in that department.
And it has been obvious for some time the club does not have the personnel to compete in that department with Manchester City and Liverpool."

Thinking about it maybe he is right, they have a lot in common. Come on Simon did you miss a couple of English lessons? Using department twice in 3 lines, brain not capable of providing an alternative? What's wrong with 'positions'.

Haaland to City.
Media and pundits talking about if he can adjust and if he is the right CF within our system.
450.000 salary because obviously City showed them the contract.

Nunez to Liverpool.
Media and pundits talking about how he can sensationally change their attack.
Not a word about salary. Just a quick mention about 85million.

Together with the 6 players in TOTY and POTY in Salah AND Klopp being MOTY, you wonder how they only won the FA and League Cup.

More ammunition to finish above Liverpool. They make it so easy for Pep and his men.

From the PL website:

'The Premier League is a private company wholly owned by its 20 Member Clubs who make up the League at any one time.

Each individual club is independent, working within the rules of football, as defined by the Premier League, The FA, UEFA and FIFA, as well as being subject to English and European law.

Each of the 20 clubs are a Shareholder in the Premier League. Consultation is at the heart of the Premier League and Shareholder meetings are the ultimate decision-making forum for Premier League policy and are held at regular intervals during the course of the season'
.

So, essentially 3 more USA owned teams and they can do whatever the f*ck they like.
This is my great worry but alas its to late only us and Newcastle possibly Spurs Leicester will be left in 2 years .It will be a disaster but we're the bad boys

Because they are serial bottlers and got lucky in a couple of penalty shootout outs ?

Exactly. This is how I break it down to
idiot.
Mansour spent £1.5bn to have an asset worth £4bn. He’s also sold 20% of that asset for £800m. So he’s had over half his total investment back and still retains 78% of a £4bn asset. So, for his £700m investment remaining, he has an asset value of circa £3.3bn
It’s truly terrific investment.
He will have spent a lot more than 1.5 billion when you factor in CFG as the 4 billion is what CFG is worth but your point is still valid

Sorry just to add. We had Scandinavian supporters back in the 60s but and probably other countries but we wouldn’t have known back then because it was a different time without the social media we have now. I welcome them all.
Met a group of City fans from Finland after the last match of 2013. They had all supported City for years as individuals all over their country and only got together because of the dreaded social media. A rare Internet happy ending.

Just wondering how the two players' transfers would have been reported if they had both gone to the other club.
The difference from the reports would have been so enormous it would be diificult to get the head round it.
