I don't get it. Why do the tabloids feel the need to highlight the fee like some kind of trophy win?

It's quite ridiculous but pep was right, the media have their tongue in the tramps holiest of holes.

Yes I thought exactly the same looking at the back pages on here and more so looking at them all in the supermarket.
The real story is why do ALL the media make such a big deal of one club possibly getting an extra 7.5 million if all the targets are achieved. Big deal it's not really any story at all even for the silly season.
