Something the world's biggest club hasn't done for a decade. Admittedly, that's usually because they drop into the Europa League or don't even qualify through league position.

The world's biggest football club *TM that went 26 years without winning the domestic title?

Doesn't sound quite as impressive, winning 14 league titles in 54 fucking years does it? So 0.259259259259 every decade.

Even lickle old City have six in 53 years.

The issue is that commercially they have exploited " the brand " so successfully that their income streams keeps them regarded as a " big club " masking the absence of success on the pitch over long periods of time.

For a club with such massive financial resources, as you rightly point out, to have not won the league title for so long before the PL was born is an absolute disgrace and indictment of their failures - a true example of living off the hype which surrounds the cesspit of a club.
