Commentary/‘analysis’ so far reminds me of when we played Kiev a few years back.. it was all about ’The Shevchenko Show’.. and when they scored it was ‘trebles all round’.. in stark contrast to the funereal tones whenever we got near Kiev’s penalty area..
Posted the above last night just before kick-off when responding to a similar comment by 'Deano' on the partiality revealed against us in so many commentaries on European games down the years.

For me, the commentary by Peter Drury and Jim Beglin back in 2011 when we lost in Kiev has remained the nadir, given their obsession with what I called at the time 'The Shevchenko Show' and their distasteful ignoring of anything positive that City did that night.

I thought that, as a low point in the way the media responds to/presents us, it would never be beaten.

Boy was I wrong.. last night's 'Messi/PSG Fest' knocked the Kiev commentary 'performance' into a cocked hat.

These people are supposed to be impartial professionals. They should be bloody well ashamed of themselves..

At some point in the near future, Amazon, Disney, Alphabet, Apple, Facebook, and possibly Microsoft will be interested.
Let's pray that they are brave enough to unearth some new commentators and pundits - not the same ones we've had to put with for years spouting the same old bollocks.

I'd say they should be slapping themselves on the back as they are clearly doing a great job of being red top loving sad little lickspittles

Yeah last night was fucking appalling. The BBC led with as their main story in the front page, the report was a thinly veiled sneer with nothing positive about City. Now I can accept Sly and BT being a bunch of complete cunts but the BBC are allegedly impartial, I have long been a supporter of the BBC and the TV license in their battle against the rabid right wing MSM but fuck‘em, they are no better than the gutter press. I still don’t know why the club hasn’t taken the bigger cunts to task, fucked them off from the club.

When Utd have played in Europe have been criticised for not supporting the English team along with the majority of my friends. Little support for us last night from Sky, and the papers seem delighted by our defeat. F**k em all they can go back to blowing smoke up the rags arses tomorrow.

....I long been a supporter of the BBC and the TV license in their battle against the rabid right wing MSM but fuck‘em, they are no better than the gutter press......

In sinister and orchestrated way, the BBC has, quite literally, become the right wing MSM you speak of. Kuesenberg, Peston etc need to face some solid and probing questions themselves, nothing at all like the soft-arse, fluffy, vapid, toothless, brain-dead shite they direct at our own Govt representatives.....

If proof was needed that the bbc are rag fan boys I just witnessed it tonight when I went on their web site. It was 1-1 and Ronaldo scored and they said twice they’ve done it done it. Don’t pay your license fee to these fuckers.
