To be fair, I was originally irked by 'dig out' as that doesn't remotely articulate how brilliant we were in the first half. But I suppose we did have to dig in in the second half.............

Dig out would be correct if we were 1-0 down and came back to win in the second half, rather than play Villa off the par with mesmerizing football before dropping off the pace in the second half.

The Daily United couldn't be arsed sending a journalist, instead they used the Associated Press for the article.

Let's face it, the Daily United along with the majority of the other tabloid rags haven't got any time or column inches for City.
