Not alone in being lazy, no proof readers employed these days I suspect.

The Football Pink many years ago when reporting on one of out matches had this belter, “Lee rounded the defender and shat into the corner of the net”.

Sorry for bringing up ancient history but I have just come across this snippet of media bias after Summerbee’s famous rant on Sky:

“Bizarrely he claimed that the away side had dominated for 60% of the game, then when shown the actal possession statistics of 54%-46% he laughably backtracked and said, “I’m not into stats”.”

It was 50.3% city to 49.7% utd.

Talk about blatant lies presented as facts by a biased media! I have been trying to find footage of the full rant online but I can only find bits, but if memory serves me correctly Sky interjected his speech with a full screen display of the “true” procession stats. Add to that many examples of journalists running with those fake numbers in their condemnation of the respected former city star I rest my case!

Seen City at over 50 grounds in the PL and EFL (not sure if that qualifies as ‘a few’ or not) and City’s is the most shambolic in my opinion.

Christ the bellyaching and chucking the towel in is a sight to behold. Chelsea (the current champions of Europe) and Liverpool (who have managed to go past 90 points in two seasons recently, they are decent sides not Burnley and Newcastle.

Does anyone remember these articles when the rags and Liverpool were cleaning up? It’s these very two teams who voted in the creation of the premier league and the closed shop it created.

And here we have the massive bellend fantasist Nick Harris mistaking an old video, posted after City won last season’s title, for a new Christmas celebration post.
Bizarrely links it to non-sequitirs about Qatar World Cup.
Also pretty much accuses Pep of having an affair with repeated and snide references to a ‘mystery blonde’….

I'm with Buzzer and I still don't even believe those prem stats, we had loads of the ball that day, way more than 50% but Sky fucked him over and that **** Yorke sneering at him was disgraceful, still, Mike had the last smirk a year later and he fucking loved it.
