Just the six articles on the BBC Sport site this morning about our defeat to Spurs.
What I read was fair though. Triumphalist coverage from opposing fans in the Guardian. Regrettably, some City fans feel compelled to contribute to our enemy's coffers.

I reported a handful of comments for blatant trolling so it becomes a cost not a benefit for the Guardian. Do it legitimately and they can't complain.

I’m starting to come to the conclusion that you don’t like the Guardian very much, Marvin.

I'm not sure where to start with this. The irony of a guy whose job it is to hype up the possibility of clubs spending vast sums of money on players. Yet it offends his morals when the most successful team of the last decade breaks the transfer record using money to quote his own words we have "generated ourselves" by being successful after, shock horror, an initial period of heavy investment by ambitious owners. What they have done is offensive to him whereas the Glazer model is somehow being lauded.

You would think from listening to these people that the Rags achieved their position at the start of the PL era by sprouting organically from nowhere. It's nauseating.

When this utter oxygen thief and Jim Shite get together on transfer deadline day the spending of money and breaking of records is seen as something to celebrate. His employers have done perhaps more than anyone to create the conditions whereby football has become big business, an arms race between the biggest clubs to sign the best players. Yet somehow his indignation is reserved for just one club.

At least we have Mike Wedderburn fighting our corner occasionally on there (I wish he could take over at the Etihad on matchdays from Hugh Ferrretface).

I need to take a break from twatter for a while to avoid Uberkunts like Kaveh!

Imagine Sky dedicating time to complain about City spending £100m on Grealish without realising the money came from them.

Surely they arent as fucking stupid as they appear?

Anyone could see that was 11 players wearing a City shirt, but it very much wasn't anything approaching a real City team.So to try and pretend Spurs beat anything other than a B team is fucking comical, and will mean fuck all when we introduce our first choice players.

It appears last seasons similarities,in respect of our start, have been conveniently wiped from memory.

FI. Why let recent history and facts get in the way of a storyline that kicks City and lauds their favourites. The writers love it and they have papers to sell and clicks to garner. They are anything but stupid. They need revenue and to appease their readership and owners.

I see the Mail are running an article on Jack Grealish liking some pics on Instagram put up by a female love island contestant. The media seem to be going out of their way to prove how utterly worthless they are.

Of course i realise that, but a rant was needed.

I won't give them clicks by linking to the article but how the f*ck does the Daily Star manage shoehorn the Dipper's into Mbappe's transfer rumour.

"Kylian Mbappe makes Real Madrid transfer request in blow to Liverpool's 2022 plans"

"Mbappe is entering the final year of his contract and although the French talent cost PSG a monstrous €180million (£153million), he could walk away for free at the end of the season".

"Liverpool have been long-term admirers of the forward, but it seems Real Madrid is his most likely destination".

You could insert any one of about 20 clubs who potentially have the means to sign him, but that means FA.

This is because the dippers admiration of Mbappe @#"means more".......or whatever it was.

Case of making hay while the sun shines?

Or just a case of the red shirted trolls filling their boots?

JUst playing to the baying gallery
The thing is, much like many other examples in modern society, the baying gallery has been effectively created by their bile and malicious rhetoric.

Not having a a dig at you specifically here, but you're putting the cart in front of the horse as there wouldn't be a baying gallery without their propaganda.

Tactical fouling? ...etc.

@Middle_Class_Hero What is your objective? Spectacularly counter-productive. Care to justify what you're up to?

This guy is just stupid. Our accounts indicate that our revenue is close to Utd and we don't have to pay debt interest so our owner no longer needs to pump money in with three titles in four seasons.

Solhecol the man named after a cough linctus. :-)

Dermot Gallagher loved Penandes 3rd goal.
Just when you thought ref watch couldn't be any worse than last season
