Everything that's wrong with the UK media coverage of football is exemplified by the programme on BBC1 right now, 'The Top 10 Euros Moments' featuring Gary Lineker, Micha Richards and Alan Shearer.

The top 10 moments they're pontificating over do not include one of the greatest, most breathtaking goals ever scored when Holland's Van Basten volleyed from an acute angle to score against the Russians in the 1988 final.

Who decides these lists? I mean, they've spent the opening 15 minutes of 'bantz' going on about Lineker being subbed off by Graham Taylor in his last ever England game; how Wales progressed through the 2016 tournament; and how Wayne Rooney had a couple of decent performances in his first ever Euro Finals group matches before getting injured.

And the great goal by Michel Platini to win the title for France at the death of the final in 1984 was covered from the point of it being 'great commentary' by John Motson.

Then again, I might have imagined what Van Basten did to actually help his country won the f-ing trophy over several games, not least the special moment in the final when he killed Russia with that amazing goal..

And like clockwork….

This isn’t even Sheikh Mansour. It’s Sulaiman Al-Fahim, involved in the takeover in its early days but soon flirted off.
But the paper that previously referred to Arab owners as “a row of grinning beards in the directors box” probably thinks “Well, they all look the same to me”

The same old Guardian cliches and tropes are scattered throughout the article. Not least equating City and our owners with some of the more extreme actions of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as the old state owned lie and then an attack on fans for defending their club against the Guardian’s own open hostility:

Then we move into libel. If Wilson and the Guardian really nelieve Shiekh Mansour is “disreputable” to the point he “carries bonesaws in his pockets” then I hope he sues them into oblivion

And one final attack on fans, who are “weaponised bots” rather than supporters who choose to challenge the outright lies and open bias of certain media organisations who seem loathe to scrutinise or criticise the true enemies of English football: crooked white American owners seeking to impose a closed shop

In short, the Guardian sports desk is a dog whistle racist, City hating nest of perverts and deviants like Nakrani and Glendenning who have the gall to lecture us about morality.

BT Sport showing their true colours with the cock sucking of PR37 to promote PL football.

The muppets over at Liverpool are more obsessed with criticising our owners than realising they have one of the lowest net spends in the league and are being shafted by FSG.

FSG are worse than the glaziers but because the Scousers are good… because of Klopp,,,, they get away with it.
FSG are far better owners than the Glazers from a footballing perspective imo. They are both in it for themselves, but FSG’s decision making and recruitment has been far superior. I reckon a randomly picked crack-head would have exercised better decision making than the Glazers the last decade or so. In terms of squandering resources and making bad calls, they have no peers in the game.

Given the level of support that club has, and the inherent advantages they enjoy within the game and the media it’s actually astonishing how much united have declined on the Glazer’s watch.

They are utterly fucking clueless.

Tbf there is plenty of disgrintlent and frustration amongst a lot of liverpool fans over Henrys lack of investment after the title win and the massive amount of profits that are going straight to funding his US projects instead.

Not that you will hear tgat from the bellends on Rawk or the happy clapper cultists

One of the biggest laughs of the season is when you are invited to vote for someone and you're given a list of who's eligible for your vote. There should be a write-in candidate every time.

The Biased Broadcasting Canutes!

The goal by Van Basten was just staggering! Not surprised they don't include it. Could be that they haven't got any rights. The BBC coverage of football these days is often 'after the Lord Mayor's show' and consists of very selectively edited highlights, women's footy, or the razzamataz of an FAC2 game where the winners might fortuitously face an away game at the mighty CFC, The Arse, The Dippers or Mansh United in FAC3!

To be fair, they did a top ten goals programme so “moments” was other than goals but generally the shortlists (which apparently are chosen for lineker and co) tend to be poor

And long may it continue!

The problem? That’s it, is it?

Photo of Sheikh Mansour ffs. These cunts are stealing a living.
This is his big moment, he’s been writing this article for a good two months maybe longer planning every last detail and this was all he could come up with.

And a wrongly captioned picture - fucking amateurs

The Guardian implies that Sheikh Mansour's stake is a front for the UAE state who want to wash their reputation, and yet at the same time they can not even identify our owner's face. Any Arab face will do! We all stink!

Boycott the Guardian. There are still hundreds of City fans happy to make their home in the Guardian comments pages. Why? How can you identify with a media organisation that regards City fans in such a way?

The UAE’s human rights record isn’t ‘hideous‘ either, not relatively speaking. It’s far from perfect that’s for sure, and is a long way from being as good as Norway’s or Germany’s for example, but it’s certainly discernibly better than North Korea’s or the USA’s, for example.

Naah, not having that. There is no way Merson would have been better than the Glazers.

Or many Russian satellite states. No capital in mentioning them though, they can’t be so easily pigeonholed as can an Arab state

I wonder what this wanker would describe the man utd/Liverpool game as then? Probably everything that's right with football knowing this City hating prick

Man utd v liverpool underlines all that is wrong with football. The American owners want a closed shop league, a country that wants to rule the world by their standards. A country that allows its citizens to carry guns and kill each other. A country that has huge race problems where police shot first and than ask questions. Clubs that have shirt sponsor fined 1.3 billion for money laundering. Owners that take money out of football. Are these the sort of owners we want in the English football ?.

Yes of course it is this country loves the yanks !!
