I don't know his motive but to link every foreign policy decision taken by the UAE to Manchester City is absurd. As many have explained on here Sheikh Mansour has very limited influence, if any, in UAE Goverment decisions. Sheikh Mansour has investments all over the world in all sorts of sectors. To try and link a picture of one of our players crying to our owner is just pathetic.
The fact is that Sheikh Mansour is one of two deputy prime ministers and neither can become prime minister as that office is exclusively reserved as the lifetime appointment of the ruler of Dubai. Maybe the know nowts in the media would be better aiming their bile towards British horse racing, the FA Cup and all the many sports teams and sports events around the world sponsored by Emirates who pay them out of Dubai's sovereign wealth fund.

When City fans asked why the media were not interested in the Alisher Usmanov we were met with cries of whataboutery.

Darren Ambrose about to be sack from Talkshite.

He's kicking off at PiGMOL and their apology to Everton saying it opens a major can of worms.

Also as there's no VAR in tonight's cup game. How many times will it be shoehorned in if we score from a marginal offside call?
And ignored when Liverpool do the same

And another point is there not a whiff of hippocrisy over current attitudes to current invasions and past invasions. This goes to the heart of the fit and proper question. The media regard the UK as the good guys but is that really so? Think now how you feel about Ukraine and how if you lived in the Middle East you would regard British media claims that Arab rulers are not fit and proper when a few years ago we were invading them.

Great article from a none football journalist https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakgar...ester-citys-46-billion-increase-in-value/amp/

The EU has identified Usmanov as a powerful oligarch close to the Kremlin and frozen his assets. Why have I never heard about him from the British football media? Fans on Bluemoon have constantly referenced him over the years so if we know about him, or his reputation, how come the British media do not? Because they are not interested and it does not fit their agenda. You can't behave like this if you are genuinely concerned about the economic and political influence over English football. You have to behave objectively and evenly. And if you question why they are one-eyed they say "Whataboutery" as if one word is enough to cover their hypocrisy.

Usmanov is the real money man behind Everton.

City, just ban the BBC please. Send out the kit man to do MOTD interviews.

our match report includes:
Zinchenko, making his first start since 12 February, had a couple of early attempts but City's team of expensive signings and internationals failed to test keeper Steven Benda before Mahrez struck on the hour.

Minutes later, Grealish showed why he is the most expensive British player of all time

zero mention of money for Rags V Borough, zero for Dippers v Cardiff, Dippers v Shrewsbury, be zero for the Complainers v Boreham Wood but us, all the fucking time

I was just typing the same thing. Its a fucking shambles.

About 3 minutes in when ITV called us most expensive squad in world football.
Which is factually incorrect , the Rags have spent more in the last decade and have the biggest wage bill and they got turfed out of the FA Cup by a Championship team ,buy why get facts get in the way of a good story when ITV's sole intention is to blow smoke up the arses of watching Dippers & Rags praying for a cup upset.
