My recollection is that due to leaks from UEFA to very Liverpool sympathetic journalists, we refused to cooperate zny further
In the Feb we were banned
In the October CAS overturned the ban
Former LFC chief executive, Rick Parry, was on UEFA 's investigative Committee and left about the time we made the complaints and stopped cooperating
It's almost as if UEFA knew where the leaks were coming from, but as that person had left the organisation they didn't take it any further

One of the UK’s most experienced leaders in football, Rick Parry - Chairman of the EFL Board - served as both chief executive of the Premier League between 1991 and 1997, and Liverpool Football Club between 1997 and 2009.
Vastly experienced, his main contribution to the formation of the Premier League was the introduction of a governance structure which included the formula for the sharing of TV revenues among Clubs. A formula which remained unchanged for 25 years.
In 2008, a year in which the University of Liverpool awarded him an honorary doctorate for his services to the City of Liverpool, Parry was also elected to the Board of the European Club Association. Since leaving Liverpool the following year, he has carried out a variety of football related consultancy projects in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, the US and Mexico.
Parry carried out two assignments for the UK government – joining the Sports Betting Integrity Panel in 2009 and advising the DCMS Select Committee on its football governance review in 2011.
In September 2016, he was elected to the Investigatory Chamber of UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Control Board, having been nominated by the European Club Association. He stepped down in October 2019.
Parry brings a wealth of knowledge to the EFL, and will be responsible for overseeing the growth and development of the EFL, with the aim of ensuring the continued strength of EFL competitions, commercial success and governance.
The only thing you have missed is that he was also a Board Director at New York Cosmos during the period when New York City FC's stadium plans were repeatedly derailed. HIs role for the Qataris was "security consultant" apparently.

This is a good article for the "Why aren't we taking legal action?" crowd.

That article assumes we would sue them in the German courts. We could sue them here if we wanted. Though we would never do either, in reality

The story is dropping like a stone on the Daily United website. Near the bottom of the page now. They must be tired of the rehashed story as well, bar featuring it. It’s run out of fuel again. Nowhere near as many comments as there used to be from rival fans. Many comments from City fans noting there’s a big game this weekend. It will die a death over the next couple of days.
My guess is that the case will be dismissed fairly soon and this leaked story is the pre-cursor to that. I can't recall if the judge gave a deadline when he issued a warning about the PL case being delayed. The Mancini accusations date back to 2009 well before FFP was even introduced. I wonder how many Managers get paid "consultancy fees" as a way of legally reducing their tax bills. I suspect all of them. This case is a total farce.

There was the case of the Argentinian kid whose family moved to Manchester and City gave his dad a job… whatever happened with that? Didn’t see anything wrong to be honest.
The kids signing bollocks was dealt with city got a slap on the wrist Chelsea got a transfer embargo. Mancini did do some stuff for the wider city football group who the fuck knows if it was fair value, it’s never been done before so whatever Mancini was paid would become the benchmark.

The story was published globally so we could even sue them in the country where the smear campaign is driven from...the USA.
The libel laws are much tougher here than the US. That’s why Elon Musk was able to call a Thailand based rescue diver who rubbished his submarine cave rescue idea “a paedo” and somehow get away with it

Well I expect reports in the media solely ment to destabilise our club. Whenever there is a big game coming up you read some weird stories that funnily enough run dry after the game is played.
Sometimes it’s so obvious that you tend to think the media are taking a leak. Talking about leaks ….
I rest my case.
It’s all too obvious.
it’s been like this for over 10 years.
Just simply boring.

I genuinely think that everyone is well past this shite now, on a personal level it just doesn’t bother me, and I think even other clubs fans are bored of it now too. It’s just a pathetic attempt by these so called journalists to print and tweet some more abuse at us.

Roll on Sunday 4.30…

Harris ranting and raving on Twitter to a gallery of deluded scousers, rags and gooners. He probably needs sectioning for his own safety
I sincerely hope we sign another 10 Abu Dhabi based deals totalling £250m simply to watch Harris, Tarik & their red twitter legions continue to self-combust.
