Take a look at the Yorkshire Post. Apparently they didn't deserve the hiding they got because on another day they would have scored when Rodri did his Slippy G impersonation. Also the crowd were magnificent and you couldn't hear the away end at the fourth goal because they were drowned out.
They neglected to mention that Leeds fans did more to disrupt their own team than City, with Jack winding them up and grinning through the paper bombardment. Still, it was funny seeing their inferiority complex coming through and if the game meant so much to them then why did they want Yorkshire on the placards rather than the club name. It's not as though the rest of the county wants to be associated with them.
I fancy Leeds would like to annex the whole of Yorkshire, just as the Rags would like to annex Manchester!

Not everything is bias, Liverpool still being in contention for everything at this stage of the season is newsworthy

The two articles are disingenuous in another important aspect, because they're not comparing like with like. In April 2021 our fate was in our hands, the quadruple was on if we won all our remaining games (in the case of the league not even that was required). But that's not the case for Liverpool in May 2022, their fate is not in their hands, their quadruple requires us to stumble.

So the quadruple is not on for Liverpool in the same way it was for us in April 2021, not if it requires another club to drop points, a club Liverpool are not playing in the league between now and the end of the season.

The quadruple is only on if it's in your own hands to win it, win your remaining games and it's yours.

But Liverpool are not in that position, they can win all their remaining league games and still not win the title, because it's not in their hands to win it, it's in ours.

Is the league on if it requires another club to drop points, a club you're not playing in the league between now and the end of the season? Surely it's only on if it's in your own hands to win, but the league is not in Liverpool's hands to win, it's in ours.
It’s certainly in ‘someone’s’ hands if Liverpool are going to be given the PL, they’ve had plenty of assistance for themselves and plenty of assistance against ourselves.

You’re not going to get many scouse clicks with that attitude!!

This really is pathetic

It’s all based on a fake premise because dates change from season to season. City missed the Quad by three games in 2019 and LFC are 7 games away at present so they are not closest to the Quad at all. More fake news.

The story being newsworthy isn't the problem. The issue is that just over a year ago when City were similar position it was reported as being bad for football. Now it's Liverpool it's being reported as being fucking wonderful. (See Luke Edwards's disgraceful hypocrisy and double standards in his two Telegraph articles barely a year apart).

This really is pathetic

If this was published by sky, BT or any other private broadcaster then fine, we have a choice to fund them. The fact we are forced to pay (the nonce protectors) for this propaganda is a joke.

8 million lost, I am happy for owners to fund clubs?????

Said gary Neville talking about his club Salford !!

Defending the debt etc because he has the money lol

Hippocrate
I gave more to help his local club Bury when l put into a bucket collection one home match. Neville did nowt despite his parents being involved with the club.
Hypocritical twat.
And that twat Savage was painted in the BBC documentary as some sort local hero couldn't get his hand in his pocket to help out Macc financially before they got in a mess.

That part of the match report seems to have been removed, but they are still convinced that the result flattered City. Some of the national media are saying it would be a big loss to the PL if that shower went down. Well I can tell them that it will be one more thing to celebrate if they go down and disappear forever.
Am l the only person who thought that new Leeds manager comes over as a right moaning twat who is not conversant with the laws of the game but gobs off anyway?
