Who remembers this gem?

After much ridicule the video was deleted from Youtube.

It might be floating about on the interweb somewhere still?

Liverpool fans are now suggesting the length of the grass was too long during their 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Thursday night.

In a video on The Anfield Wrap's YouTube channel, host Neil Atkinson was joined by Melissa Reddy and Paul Cope to take a closer look at Liverpool's defeat against Pep Guardiola's side.

"I could not believe the length of the Manchester City pitch." host Neil Atkinson said this week.

"The amount to which is cut up, the fact that it didn't look well - it looked like a pitch that had been prepared for one thing. To stop fast passing.

"This is a Pep Guardiola pitch that's been set-up to stop fast passing and I think that tells the story of how Manchester City approached the game about as much as anything else."

Reddy also agreed that the grass was one of the ways Manchester City thought they could control the game. Here is a clip from The Anfield Wrap discussion, as well as the full 23-minute video.

Grass to long? add it to the charge sheet :-)

We all know why she got the job at Sly Sports News.

It certainly wasn’t for her football knowledge.

She got the job because…… (how long did her hair take for that photo-shoot?)

View attachment 68836

And because she’s a plastic Liverpool fan.
Saw her preparing to do a live update in qatar, not impressive at all and tgat was before she opened her mouth

Article in the mirror about buying the club in Brazil
"is a big statement of intent by the Premier League champions to illustrate how the club’s Abu Dhabi and American owners"

They've added in American owners, never seen that mentioned before
Simples, they are doing a 180 turn because the state owned garbage doesn't work if the charges are disguised owner investment. If we win the Mirror will be back to state owned unlimited funds etc, you know the script.

Behind a paywall, as ever, but good Martin Samuel column released at 6pm today for tomorrow’s paper.
References to City, but a few digs at united too, mentions the comments of Neville re FFP, even points out the missed point by Rebecca Adlington when commenting about swimming pools closures. Brilliant stuff.

She's perfect for the target Sky TV watcher - ie overweight, bald, brain-dead 50-something male slob, sprawled-out on the sofa all day with his hands down his joggers, fantasising about women presenters half his age, looking not listening and so not taking-in or hearing a single word she says. But it's where he gets all his extensive football knowledge and opinion from.
So what if I do?
