Yank company wanting yank club to win something. Who knew?
Dan Thomas, Craig Burley, Steve Nicol, and Frank Leboeuf aren't "Yanks", but they are working at ESPN. They have become so blatantly biased against City in their coverage its mind boggling. Listening to these dickheads talk about City you would think we were below Chelsea in the table and out of all competitions when the reality is we're alive for a historic treble. Whether we win 1, 2 or all 3 trophies or even none is another matter. They can't seem to separate fact from fiction or in this case wishful thinking. The jealously, the slandering, the bitterness has gotten way too big for them to conceal so now they don't even try. I've stopped watching these assholes a while ago but I do like to watch when we're in a good moment. After yesterday's matches you would have thought we were ManUre last week at Anfield. But I actually enjoyed it. Listening to their nonsense while you can sense their fear and the dread that we just may do it AGAIN is entertaining. Their worry is palpable. Its written all over their faces, the fucking disingenuous pricks that they are.

I'm not usually one to contribute content on this thread but I've just been to the NBC website from a suggestion from elsewhere for highlights.

I've not checked but I presume Liverpool barely lost and we're not barely 2 points behind Arsenal and barely yet to play them at home :)

Last week, when Arsenal scraped a win against Bournemouth in time added to added time the rhetoric was that's what champions do etc. etc., it was spun as a positive - the same week, after us beating Newcastle 2-0 Ian Wright said "they're not blowing teams away"... hang on, Arsenal scrape a few wins but that's OK? Make it make sense lads!

The only thing I like about Ian Wright is tgat he sporned SWP.
Hopefully this MOTD shannigans sees him fade from view.

It's simply an obvious, unabashed double standard on a 24 hour spin cycle...
